Not my monkey, not my circus?![]()
It's actually a Polish proverb:
There's a Polish proverb which millennials often use today: “Not my circus, not my monkeys.” It's a way of saying, “Don't drag me into your drama and your issues—I'm not getting involved.”
I use the original Polish language as a signature line for my work e-mail. I "borrowed" it from an engineer who worked for Pratt and Whitney (now retired)
31 and heavy frost looks white as snow. Clear skies hitting 59 later.
Was scheduled to go hike Rockytop but my plantars are irritated...might be the new lightweight hiking boots I bought. Will try them again today and see how they feel.
Buppies, sounds like great time at the beach. Have a safe trip home.
You guys have great dogs. We've never had one that gets on furniture (except a Lab that would sneak when we left the house and jump down when we drove up...but we'd find hair...and one time she was so sound asleep we walked up on her. Boy did she look guilty.
We worked on our outside decorations and lights yesterday...earliest we've ever put them up...then while my wife fine tuned and rearranged a few things, I took a load to the dump and picked up some gas and diesel, and then scraped the underside of the deck on the zero...that stuff had hardened to concrete. We finished at sunset and admired the lights and moonrise...Ron your photo sure looks like a full moon.
