Snow blower is hooked to the 3PH, operates fine. The rear draft link controller is really convenient. I did not try the "inching" controller...frankly, i screwed up when trying it...based upon my memory...not so good, I'm afraid, I didn't follow the correct procedure. Next time I run the tractor, I'll give it another go...
Leaves out of the gutters...the blower extension I bought was pretty worthless, so I did it the old fashioned way...on a ladder...but, the gutters are cleaned out and leaf free!
The heater in the tractor's cab works nice! I wish, in a way, the cab had a window that could be opened, since I do smoke cigarettes and the occasional cigar. Well, sacrifices must be made sometimes!

"after a solid 6 hours of leaf clean up yesterday."
----------------
When finally get leaves all clean up light wind blows and it's raining leaves every where  happen to me yesterday.

My yard looks like I never touched it. LOL. Will do it again if it dries out around here. Oak leaves are starting to fall now too.

I’m going to have to mow one more time, but I’m going to wait a few more days, what’s growing is mostly one variant of grass and wild onions and garlic. Then off with the deck and on with the land plane for the winter. We’ve ended up with about 1.25” of rain up until now. 56° now, the warmest since midnight.

53° and 1.14” of rain so far. Went to Ellen’s dad’s house this morning to check on him, he’s had some issues lately.
Getting ready to pressure cook a pork tenderloin for diner.

Sodamo, I’ve had my fingers lock, not much fun. Usually happened from repetitive motion.
Nice Cardinal picture Ron.

When I was building my house, and using a hammer all day, my fingers would be curled up in the morning, and I had to run hot water on them to straighten out my fingers.

Cooked pork sounds good.

all I can say is these tasted better than they look....
oats, bananas, maple syrup, honey, cinnamon, apple sauce, vanilla and cranberries
no sugar, no flour, no salt, no butter

sending a plateful home with my helper. His mom makes everything with sugar and butter, big time.
I imagine these will get fed to their birds...;)

They look delicious!

Even large quantities of natural sugar, (maple syrup/honey/apple sauce will make my hands act up accompanied with large amounts of pain. 1 of those cookies would do me in for sure.

How are you if you eat a banana. The maple syrup and honey and applesauce can be substituted by two ripe mashed bananas.

Kyle, have you considered the possibility of a donor Steiner?

Curious, any of you guys ever have your fingers lock up? Not talking just a cramp, but grab with other hand to try to straighten with tears in your eyes kind. Seems to be triggered by unusual hand activity like yesterday making my cables. Thankfully it doesn稚 last long, usually my index fingers and not frequently.

From others comments, this sounds very common. I often wake up to find 2 fingers locked tight to the palm on my right hand. The first few times it happened I forced them open with my left hand and it took a scary amount of force. Now I just lightly massage from the knuckle joint down for a short while and keep trying each finger in turn to see if it will open with a light touch, the other then follows immediately, like one of those fly catching plants in reverse.

Medically I believe the condition is known as "trigger finger" or in fancy speak "stenosing tenosynovitis". I take it as a sign that I have been overdoing things (like holding a trowel or hammer for too long) and need to ease off for a while.

Over acting can bring on something similar, known as "the claw" or "jimcarreyitus" Liar Liar: :D

41 heading to 46 today. My right hand locks up into a ball if I use it to much. My Rheumatologist calls it trigger finger also. It is your tendons getting caught in the sheaths they ride in due to inflammation. If it gets bad enough they can slit the sheath to give more room similar to carpal tunnel surgery. That is on the list of operations needed for me after my knee, toe, neck, wrist and shoulder.
I'm waiting as long as possible to get them done. Hopefully I will be able to put them off if I can keep the arthritis in check.
Going to be a wet day so might as well take the pressure washer out and wash the porch and shed at the apartment house.
Stay safe and healthy everyone! Don't over do it.

good morning all
51 going up to 62, damp cloudy day

off early to local hospital to get blood work done, should be quick and easy, then need to stop and buy several bungee cords I borrowed from a friend
for the move, and which got lost.
When I get home need to call Board of Elections, never got registration confirmation they promised by end of last week.
Maybe I'll just go to their office, get a ballot and vote today.

have to fast this morning, sure miss my coffee. This doc says eat or drink nothing, prior doc says ok to have black coffee. Since blood work is for hormones, think I'll skip the coffee to be safe.

Toppop, hope your arm is doing better today.
Roy, glad you got your snow blower on

Good morning! 46 now, 都upposed to get to 53 today. Maybe some sprinkles.

Lots of tractor time this weekend.....did some work to the wood storage shed. Then hooked up the splitter to the tractor and split another trailer load of wood. This load split nice, those logs had been sitting about 18 months. Then mowed, hopefully, for the last time this year. Used both the NH and Craftsman, set the decks higher than normal. Definitely got chilled mowing tho.

Have to go into work today due to poor planning on someone痴 part. Tomorrow will be my day off. Working the phones alone again today.

Everyone stay safe out there

46 outside this AM. Heading to 70. Actually had a fire going in the woodstove last night. Nice and toasty. I have enough wood for this year but need to take care of the mountain of unsplit maple sitting out back.

Got the rest of the foam board up, even managed to shove some up under the side where the porch meets the house. Wore myself out again.

Not much on the agenda today. Need to do some mortar mix fixes on the front foundation and if it gets warm enough, paint the ceiling.

David, you would not recognize I95 North from Route 1 to DC. Just North of 1, all the trees in the median are gone. And there is a reversible toll lane, run by an Australian company.

I would say, it doubled in size...easy. And it STILL has the same bottlenecks. Just a lot of people in the area.

Hope all have a great start to the work week. Be safe!
