Ron great bar overview. Love canadan bacon ore than spam

Both my wife and late wife love scrapple, it’s like a chitterling patty to me! It is gross.
I love fried bologna but I don’t eat either anymore, same with Spam, even the low sodium version has a ton of sodium and fat.
supposed to be best fall color in years here peaks around second week of October
when I drive North from VA end of next week, will be going up 81 to PA turnpike and then heading East.
Am hoping the colors will be out and it will be a pretty drive
going this direction takes half an hour longer than going up 95, well worth it to me
Google Maps
they say Spam is one of the favorite "meats" in Hawaii, apparently WWII soldiers introduced it there and all the locals loved it.
I always thought it was disaster food you kept in the cupboard, stuff has long shelf life for sure
Infrequently Spam on the barbecue sounds pretty good, probably no worse than bacon which I adore and have sworn off of.
I do wonder what parts of the pig are used to make it. Snouts anyone?
I wonder if imitation bacon is worth buying...low salt fake bacon isn't likely to taste like the real stuff
As anyone in this fine state knows...Everything Goes Better With Bacon
Lou, I don't think you are going to be hungry any time soon... which if you are out in the fields is actually a good thing
Oh yeah, SPAM is a staple, usually have a can of the different varieties in the pantry. One of my favorite ways to cook it is on the grill! I like it on a sandwich or as a side....
Interesting conversation;
I just finished a breakfast sandwich,
fried two slices of spam, two eggs and a slice of pepperjack cheese on two slices of multi-grain toast,
and now finishing my coffee before getting up and going good.
