They say the Lord looks out for drunks and fools, I was both that night.

and we are very happy He does...
My BIL ran into an unlit abandoned pier/dock at night coming home from a restaurant on the Delaware, wrecked his Fountain, hurt three people including neighbor's wife with
broken leg. He is lucky he did not get sued and he knows it. Fastest I ever went at night was about 14mph, just enough to stay up on plane. And as we all know now as adults, the captain never drinks til he/she gets back to the dock. Wish it were always so...

Got the last piece of wire off the posts and rolled up. Now my arms itch. Will try to pull posts with grapple, but not today.

Wife had a mint tea patch in the corner, but weeds took over. She wants to transplant what she can, so can’t mow yet.

Beautiful day today, in 70s, nice breeze.

Tractor daily pre-operation checklist and maintenance - YouTube
nothing new here but good common sense
the part about checking three point hitch pins has been an issue for me, I've found several that are just about to fall out regardless of the
stiff spring clip on them; don't know if they were snagged by something. Need to also doublecheck that rear sway bars are adjusted properly so implement doesn't
rub on rear tire on turns.

If I'm not using the loader, I'm sure not regreasing it every ten hours of mower time...

interesting comment about lack of inventory to start

I love the Fountains, Reggie gave us a tour the plant there in Washington in 1988. Problem was a similar equipped boat in the 25’ range was near $70k, my Donzi listed for $54k and change and it had 8 hours as a demo, used by the owner, so I paid less. However if money didn’t matter I would have owned a Fountain, or a Cigarette.

57°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 82°. We may be looking at highs around 70° by the end of this week. Not gonna hate that.

I have no idea what happened to the weekend. Where does the time go?

I've been wearing cheaters to read for the last couple of years, Kyle. I just had a moment about a week ago where I was trying to read dimensions on a small 8.5 x 11 drawing print, and I was having to switch back and forth between the readers and my safety glasses. Decided to just get some bifocal safety glasses.

Nice that you're getting some serious help here with the fire truck, RNG. This place never ceases to amaze.

We had a serious infestation of fruit flies at work a couple weeks ago. In spite of thorough cleaning and making sure no one left anything in their waste baskets, they simply wouldn't go away. The owner of the company brought in some of those little fluid traps, and they mostly disappeared within about two days.

Great pics, Ron.

My son just got through having fun with the tennis racquet bug zapper, getting very small flies in our kitchen area. Better than Wii Fit game!

Actually, its more to do with a bad leg and a few herniated disks...can't spend much time on a ladder

Hope you get feeling better soon.

Nice pics Ron.

Prayers for our team, and for America.

Actually getting the screws out of the plastic enclosure and now getting them back in is the biggest challenge.

GRRRRR!!!!!

Totally fixed my long time issue. I was so scared it was mouse damage to the wiring... OOF!!!

Be well,
David

Actually replaced ignition switch 2x on my CK30.

Dennis where did you find the t-shirt?

Dennis any poison ivy in the roll of fence?
.

T shirt keeps popping up on FB.

Didn’t think about poison ivy. As much as we have around here, none was climbing the fence. But I wore gloves.

My college boy taking a shower at 2:30 am, he’s going to bed. Half of TBN will be up soon.
My tinnitus is bad right now.

TAX DAY in Bethel! Oh Boy :(

Good morning, mist a lot lighter today, sun should soon be out to lightly grill me as I stare at more bricks. September is often a good weather month for us, only half way through and this one is already trying hard to make it into the record books.

Kyle, I never feel I missed much in growing up at a time when there were no mobile phones or electronic games. Do envy your son though in getting to play with a fly zapper at his age. More fun and not as stinky as pumping the Flit gun - Wikipedia

Ron, the moon may go into hiding soon, but you are fortunate to always have a little Luna in your life. Is she trying to get up and take a few steps yet ?

Toppop, my BIL trucked his wrecked boat back to factory and had them fix it, something like 35k in damage. I've just never been a speedboat person, things come at you
too quickly. One of my closest friends owned a Formula 31, seriously nice boat that topped out at 72mph, and he was such a cautious/good driver that I never worried going out with him. So often the need to impress goes up with the amount of alcohol consumed, and my friend didn't drink...

Very pretty cool morning out, 65 going up to only 78 today and then down to 59 tonight. The heat will surely be on.
Forecast is still on for over two inches of rain, slow moving Sally starts dumping rain here Thursday morning and doesn't stop until Sat morning so could be more
rain than predicted.

off to drugstore early then back to do some cleaning here.
