They say the Lord looks out for drunks and fools, I was both that night.

and we are very happy He does...
My BIL ran into an unlit abandoned pier/dock at night coming home from a restaurant on the Delaware, wrecked his Fountain, hurt three people including neighbor's wife with
broken leg. He is lucky he did not get sued and he knows it. Fastest I ever went at night was about 14mph, just enough to stay up on plane. And as we all know now as adults, the captain never drinks til he/she gets back to the dock. Wish it were always so...

Got the last piece of wire off the posts and rolled up. Now my arms itch. Will try to pull posts with grapple, but not today.

Wife had a mint tea patch in the corner, but weeds took over. She wants to transplant what she can, so can’t mow yet.

Beautiful day today, in 70s, nice breeze.

Tractor daily pre-operation checklist and maintenance - YouTube
nothing new here but good common sense
the part about checking three point hitch pins has been an issue for me, I've found several that are just about to fall out regardless of the
stiff spring clip on them; don't know if they were snagged by something. Need to also doublecheck that rear sway bars are adjusted properly so implement doesn't
rub on rear tire on turns.

If I'm not using the loader, I'm sure not regreasing it every ten hours of mower time...

interesting comment about lack of inventory to start

I love the Fountains, Reggie gave us a tour the plant there in Washington in 1988. Problem was a similar equipped boat in the 25’ range was near $70k, my Donzi listed for $54k and change and it had 8 hours as a demo, used by the owner, so I paid less. However if money didn’t matter I would have owned a Fountain, or a Cigarette.
