Don, if that trench doesn’t have rocks I think I would be seriouslr considering a sacrificial chainsaw bar and chain for thoseroots.

Ted, I’d expect you could finesse those ditches with your little backhoe , taking your time.

Ken, sure don’t envy you on that leak. Good luck.

We have severe storm watch now, but everything from the west evaporates before it gets here, and the PA storms look like they will pass to the north. IMG_6517.JPG

Was just looking at the weather station a couple miles to the south and they were only showing 0.09" of precipitation.

Then I checked another local weather station a couple miles north of us: 1.85" ... which sounds more like it ...

We got three or four waves/heavy downpours ... and still have a light rain/drizzle and rumbles of thunder.

The amazing thing to me was how quickly the ground soaked it up. I didn't see any runoff other than on the driveway.

I guess I can go turn that hose off now ...

I have a couple cobra dash cams, insert sd card and plug it in, it does the rest. Starts when you start car, records everything, shuts off when you turn car off.
Hit a button to save a video from being overwritten. I can record about 6 hrs before overwrite due to a bunch of saved clips.
The newer one makes me play back via cobra software, the other one doesn’t. Maybe there’s a codec I can install to change that.
Last week at Dads, I showed him the video at 4x speed of me driving some of the roads that he hasn’t been on in awhile.

I know zero to nothing about dash but one thing for sure the suction cup sucks.

Dangerous Thunderstorm Alert just issued for our area.

Cats will not like that ...

Mine use suction cup on windshield and hold very well. Fall off occasionally, like once every 2 months.

Just posted this to my Facebook Friends, and thought this group might have some insights, too.

Any electronics types out there? I'm trying to troubleshoot current surge issues with the new solar power system, and an oscilloscope would come in handy right about now. I haven't used one in fifteen years, and technology has evolved in leaps and bounds since then. Looking for a recommendation for a reasonably priced o-scope, maybe iPad based/compatible, 2 channel OK but 4 obviously better, good memory depth. It really needs a recording capability so I can download and plot the data.

What-a-ya-got?

Finally got rain.

For hardwood floors in kitchens, how do you clean?
Did you use prefinished or finish yourself?

I used the fake snap together wood flooring from Costco for rooms above my garage and really like it, just don’t want to use it in kitchen where it will get wet. I transitioned at each doorway.

Got a new flag today, ordered it Wednesday, going to wait until Sunday to swap it out in case we do get wind tomorrow. Current one lasted way over a year and just started fading when the top strip stitching separated enough to let it get over the pole and create a nice sail.

Still having trouble with meds, heart rate sitting in a chair was 49. Also had what I call a woozy head when I stand up straight. He took away two pills and added one.

Hope they get your meds fixed Randy

valuetronics for used scopes
Microdaq makes current and voltage data loggers
Tektronix is what I used in the past, Fluke makes some **** expensive but field worthy devices.
Some devices have built in storage, but not what you want, so one that plugs into a laptop or something would do.
Oscium makes one for iPad and has some decent reviews-i have not used one.
LAst one I bought was based on aduino but did not have data out, probably could make one on that platform. Trick is to have a good probe, makes all the difference.
