Drew, so glad you are doing well in your treatment. Still pulling for ya here.
I have a couple cobra dash cams, insert sd card and plug it in, it does the rest. Starts when you start car, records everything, shuts off when you turn car off.
Hit a button to save a video from being overwritten. I can record about 6 hrs before overwrite due to a bunch of saved clips.
The newer one makes me play back via cobra software, the other one doesn’t. Maybe there’s a codec I can install to change that.
Last week at Dads, I showed him the video at 4x speed of me driving some of the roads that he hasn’t been on in awhile.

I know zero to nothing about dash but one thing for sure the suction cup sucks.![]()

valuetronics for used scopesJust posted this to my Facebook Friends, and thought this group might have some insights, too.
Any electronics types out there? I'm trying to troubleshoot current surge issues with the new solar power system, and an oscilloscope would come in handy right about now. I haven't used one in fifteen years, and technology has evolved in leaps and bounds since then. Looking for a recommendation for a reasonably priced o-scope, maybe iPad based/compatible, 2 channel OK but 4 obviously better, good memory depth. It really needs a recording capability so I can download and plot the data.
What-a-ya-got?
Hope they get your meds fixed Randy
