Couldn’t get my go kart engine running. Kept spraying sea foam in, let it sit. Etc. it runs 5-6 sec on the sea foam then stops. Maybe it’s fuel pump. There is no filter

Sun came out so mowed rest of the far back field, then mowed everything around the house. Only got the field to do now.
Started raining a few drops again just after I quit, but stopped by the time I got into the house, now sun is out again.

Prayers Ron.

I hope I won't need it either...
There are a number of YouTube videos on converting a portable genny into a semi-permanent shed
Until I can afford a whole house genny...this might be a good option

I picked up a suncast shed earlier this summer (on the list to assemble before winter) kind of looks similar to the one in the video. I got tired of dragging from it the shed to the house where the power inlet is, might do something like the video.
Thanks for the YouTube link.

Oh Ron, I'm so sorry. I remember when you brought Muffin here to our place. She was such a good dog, and a great companion. I pray for you.

What a great picture, surrounded by Texas bluebonnets. (I believe).

Picture was taken at Jim and Kathy’s place in Sunset, TX.

Ron, may your dog remain in bluebonnet heaven. Sorry for your loss.

had a nice zoom get together with my sister in California, her husband was complaining how miserably hot and humid it got there today,
80 degrees with high humidity when normally highs in 70's. Sister said "we are really getting soft"...

made a chicken casserole for dinner, turned out really well, got the garlic, thyme and dash of Texas Pete's down just right.

Good evening all. 79F for the start, clear, calm wind. Moderate win today except for front going through, whit caps on the lake then. Sky clouded up late afternoon, most of the rain has been Ted's 6 to 8 inch between rain drops hope we get some overnight. High temp was 101F, feels like 109F. Chapel this morning, then walk with wife, made pancakes for breakfast this morning, and then wife and I made spinach quiche in muffin pans using crescent rolls for crust. Nothing as serious as you Mostly. Just 4 miles on my recumbent bike. I do at least 6 mornings and usually 7 unless going to town very early. It’s where I get my morning glance at TBN / GM.

good morning all.
First cup of coffee going down the hatch.
Delightfully cool morning at 68 out now, but headed up to 90 in sunshine all day.

I will be headed out this morning to find local dry cleaner that also does wash and fold service. More expensive alternative (but not much) than coin op but
keeps me out of that enclosed room for hours on end which can't be very safe disease wise.
Also going to call local computer repair place and get price on switching hard drive to solid state and replacing the fan. If under 300 bucks, I'll do it. More than that, not sure.

It was honestly not a pleasant thing to do because I am not wired this way, but last night I got a long email from my realtor, who got a long email from my farm buyer's realtor, with a page of questions
posed by buyer. Well...what goes around comes around. On four separate occasions while I lay in a hospital bed they beat me down on price for ridiculous reasons. I was deeply offended by these folks, and after owning and selling six houses prior to this, had never experienced this scorched earth policy. So in very clear but not nasty terms, I told them I would have been glad to help the buyers
if they had just treated me fairly. And that life was not all about taking, plus the lowest price rarely offered good value. So I declined to help them at all and told realtor to not provide contact information. Some of the questions were stupid...who provides propane when name of company was right on tank. And some, for an engineer... were ignorant, as in where does the output from my garden solar charger go, since it goes into the ground and they don't know where it came out. Really? Those are the ground/earth wires...bare wires of course. Output wires went through insulated donut in shed wall and out to electric fence.

I am quite sure from their selfish perspective they just think I'm a grumpy old man. So be it. It was never "just business" like the Mafia hit men say before they shoot you in the head... Those holes in my wallet hurt and I have a good memory. Onward, but at least I got to vent my unhappiness and disappointment in these people.
As I have said here before, I have lived my life for the last twenty years by a simple motto...every day is an opportunity for kindness. They really missed out.

Hope all of you have a good start to the week.

Good morning all. It has been raining most of the night and we are set for more later today. So good though for last week's heat to come to an end, as well as feeling comfortable in the house it is nice to be able to get cool water straight out of the tap (faucet ?).

Friends are coming to grade lambs for market, after that it will be a good day to catch up on reloading a few cartridges. I find squeezing and trimming brass strangely satisfying and having total silence apart from rain on the roof while weighing out powder quite therapeutic.

Ron, sorry to hear about Muffin.
