It was honestly not a pleasant thing to do because I am not wired this way, but last night I got a long email from my realtor, who got a long email from my farm buyer's realtor, with a page of questions
posed by buyer. Well...what goes around comes around. On four separate occasions while I lay in a hospital bed they beat me down on price for ridiculous reasons. I was deeply offended by these folks, and after owning and selling six houses prior to this, had never experienced this scorched earth policy. So in very clear but not nasty terms, I told them I would have been glad to help the buyers
if they had just treated me fairly. And that life was not all about taking, plus the lowest price rarely offered good value. So I declined to help them at all and told realtor to not provide contact information. Some of the questions were stupid...who provides propane when name of company was right on tank. And some, for an engineer... were ignorant, as in where does the output from my garden solar charger go, since it goes into the ground and they don't know where it came out. Really? Those are the ground/earth wires...bare wires of course. Output wires went through insulated donut in shed wall and out to electric fence.
I am quite sure from their selfish perspective they just think I'm a grumpy old man. So be it. It was never "just business" like the Mafia hit men say before they shoot you in the head... Those holes in my wallet hurt and I have a good memory. Onward, but at least I got to vent my unhappiness and disappointment in these people.
As I have said here before, I have lived my life for the last twenty years by a simple motto...every day is an opportunity for kindness. They really missed out.
Hope all of you have a good start to the week.
64 high of 84 stayed cloudy all day yesterday until late afternoon
Bear was walking up sidewalk last evening when I went to get work papers out of truck. He went one way me the other
Prayers for all
Prayers for Ron, Jay and wife, Kyles daughter, Drew, riptides
63 and foggy earlier, going to 84 and sunny...I feel like Christmas morning, too...getting some sunshine.
Ron, a very sad thing digging a place for Muffin...glad you can see from your house...I have the same set-up here.
Buppies, glad you are unBearable today. I guess we have separate bears...here's some from a train cam...I pulled the pic yesterday...
Sitting on the deck after grilled burgers and corn on the cob, realizing how much the sun angle has changed in the last 4-5 weeks. Long days are mostly behind us now. I hope fall and winter are smoother this year than last.
So while I get to work, mowing his yard, someone plays king of the hill.

Kekoa wants you to hurry so y'all can play. Just be careful, my friend's dog had followed him on his tractor, unbeknownst to him, and he backed up and ran over his old dog. His driveway was 1/2 mile long and he couldn't believe his old dog had followed him that far.
Drew, good for you. I was very frustrated at how they took advantage of you.....I tried but wasn't very good at masking my displeasure, because of your condition. I didn't want to get you too "riled up". They took your shirt, your coat, your hospitality, and were very unaccommodating. I read your above statement to my wife (after telling her of your struggles with it), and she said good for you.....and that you wrote it up very well for us.
Thank you all for the prayers. My daughter played her guitar and sang accompaniment in church again Sunday. I now know why the good Lord bought a guitar for her. I am blessed, and so is she with talent. She's still a little on the shy side, but getting better each time.
That freeloading mama bear is teaching all her cubs how to loot and steal. Can't you do anything to keep them away? I was telling the wife, we sure couldn't have chickens up north, because I'd have to be SSS'ing bears every time they got near the coop.
I wish it would cool down, down here. A friend is in Phoenix area, said 115F today. OUCH!
Ron, thinking about you and prayers. I have used a post hole digger to bury my inlaws last few kitty cats. Ground here is hard clay, with some small to potato size rocks. When dry, you have to "chip" at it.
RNG, hoping you and I both get some good rain. I believe Rick may have got some this morning.

RS-My wife bakes the cookies-would not be too good if I baked them, no patience.
Glad you got rain, we are probably around 8 inches in the last two weeks.
Seems we are up to three foxes now, hear them all "screaming" to each other last night
