Good morning!!!!

A pleasant 69F and mostly sunny @ 10:00, chance of rain 30% for the day, dropping to 20% for the overnight. Looks like it should be a beautiful day.

It cleared up yesterday afternoon and the sun came out with a brisk breeze enough to dry things off so I could run over what I had previously cut down - which will hopefully keep the cut grass from becoming a rotting, stinking mess. Plan to do same today - after I reset the gauge wheels on the MMM higher. I think I had probably set them down last year on the last cutting to avoid the grass getting out of hand in the spring.

Probably start on getting the lawn around the house mowed down too ...

Easy day today-need to mod the spacers for my rear wheels since the shoulder is not deep enough, don;t sit flush against the hub./QUOTE]

Are the spacers for your tractor, Ken? I'm headed down that road myself, and am curious to know if you're making your own...

Don't remember spaghetti Wednesday, but I did have spaghetti for dinner last night, and will again for lunch today.

My wife used to tell folks that I didn't like spaghetti. That was not true. I like spaghetti; just don't want it 3 days a week every week, which was about what we were having when I complained, many years ago. I think she'd still be happy to have it 6 or 7 days a week, and I actually enjoy it once or twice a week. And now when I cook up the spaghetti, I make 5 bowls of it. We each have a bowl that day, and then she has a bowl each day the next 3 days, while I eat something else:laughing:.

RS .. do you have the 72” Kubota MMM? Several years ago we had a Kubota B-2710 with the 72” mower deck. As long as I kept the blades reasonably sharp .. It cut very well. I set the gage wheels for about a 3” cut. We sold it back in 2014 but, as I recall I found Oregon Gator mulching blades to fit it. I gave my files to the new owner so have no records of it.

Good morning. It was 71° this morning and forecast says only 84° this afternoon. We got about 1/2” of rain early this morning.

More patio / porch cleaning this morning. I got the patio between the car port and back door done yesterday morning. The surface cleaner, hooked up to the pressure washer, sure speeds up the process.

TapaTalk is having issues with pictures this morning so .. can’t upload before / after.

Hope everyone has an excellent Hump Day.

Prayers to all.

Indeed we do.

Yes, I remember.

Yup - no complaints here with the quality of cut, as long as the blades are sharp (and it's surprising how well it cuts even if they aren't) - aside from the issue of the front wheels tamping down the grass before the mower hits it.

Of course, the only real solution for that is a front-cut mower ... ;)

I set the gage wheels for about a 3 cut.

I generally leave them at 3.5" (tends to avoid scalping on the high spots) ... although I might raise them during the hottest parts of the summer to 4" and lower them in the fall to 3".

We sold it back in 2014 but, as I recall I found Oregon Gator mulching blades to fit it. I gave my files to the new owner so have no records of it.

Good to know ...

I bought these off ebay and they are really a close fit but the inside shoulder is tapered and I need it to be straight.
They were around $40 , so really easy choice to buy.
I got lug nuts too as my wheels lugs have 22MM heads and won't fit in the spacers.
Time for the dremel to go to work and I will post pics.

70°F and only .01 inches rain. Will be watering garden again.

Had to make a trip up to health clinic to drop off renewal form for wife’s handicap placard. Now wait for call to retrieve.

Good luck with the new dogs Paul, and and wife are super.

Quite the shed Ted 🤙

Wonder if anyone has collected all the great photos posted here?

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
