Yea Drew. I don't know what is wrong with the discharge prescription process. I'm still straightening out/ordering my Mom's discharge medications and missed medications.

Drew, glad the move went easy, sorry to hear of the medication issues... difficult at best deciding who is responsible to make sure you get them... passing the buck. I hope things get straightened out and you have a good nights sleep.

PJ, that is an awesome desk / chair, good find! Sounds like you and the wifey are enjoying your bikes and getting in shape at the same time! Soon you will be in competition with Mostly!

Thomas, nice work! Looks very clean and neat.

Went up to the Lowes store as planned this morning. Could not find the grill inside the store. After asking 3 different employees for assistance, getting the same reply: I will be right back to help... and no one returning, I went to customer service. I was told they were outside in front of the store.

Found 3 of them.... all dirty, some scratches on the stainless steel lids, some stripped screws when they were assembled..... no way! I want new... in a box.
So, back inside to customer service. They call someone from the stock area. A nice young lady brings on up on a hand truck. I was also looking for the rotisserie attachment... they show 7 in stock, but no where to be found. The same lady spotted a sealed case up on the very top shelf, did not hesitate and got one of those ladders. Brought them down and handed me one. Then escorted me up to the register, waited while I checked out, and already lined up someone to help her load it in the truck! Excellent service. She will get a good thank you email sent to the store manager.

It is a shame that the other 3 Employees were just walking around... I was watching them... they were not helping other customers, just making themselves look busy.....

Got home after a 4 hour ordeal, and started assembling the grill. Very good quality, well built. A little time consuming (took over an hour) but well worth it. Wifey had taken out some pork chops for dinner in anticipation of a new grill. Did a pre grill burn at 550 degrees for about 20 minutes, let it cool down to about 300 and put the sliced potatoes in first. Fifteen minutes later, on go the chops.

Absolutely the best grill I have ever used... chops got golden brown, not one area of black char, no flare ups when cooking. Potato’s were done to perfection! Chops were the juiciest I have had in a long time!

The son was needing a new grill ( his old one rusted out when he was in Tenn.). He saw how well built this one was and went into town to get the 4 burner version. We got the 2 burner one ( it is usually just the 2 of us, so no real big surface needed) but still has 300 sq in of grill surface.

The reviews were either #1 or #2 so I figured it could not be bad... here is a link if anyone is interested

For 200 bucks I could not go wrong.

67F and partly cloudy @ 22:00. Headed down to around 57F for an overnight low tonight, with a high of 80F predicted for tomorrow.

Got the last two 8' fluorescents in the kitchen converted over to LED today ... the ballast in one (probably original) was pretty nasty ... all kinds of brown/black goo had oozed out onto the cover. The other ballast was a newer replacement, so it will go up to the shop to be used there until those get converted over to LED. Trash and recycles hauled up to the road. Some more clean up done in the shop.

The one neighbor got his field bailed today:

Other neighbor came down in response to my call from the other day, had him take a look at the hydraulic cylinder from the loader now that I've gotten it disassembled. He seemed to think things looked to be in pretty good shape and it should go back together without any problems. Discussed what might be involved in that ... and the proper adjustment on a rosebud for a neutral flame (sounds like I had it about right)

Dug out the new pins and checked their fit on both the curl cylinder and its bosses on SSQA. No slop at all on the SSQA and very, very little on the cylinder ... so probably not going to install bushings at this time.

Also discovered that I already had the seal kits before I ordered them this last time ... I was thinking that that might be the case ... should have checked ...

Hope I can return those and exchange them for the seal kits for the lift cylinders.

Had two big bowls of ham and bean soup for dinner, trying to digest that now and work up the motivation to head back up to the shop for the late shift.

Good evening all. 69F for the start, few clouds near calm wind. Light wind day today, clouded up a bit, looked like some rain in OK but nothing in Texas, high temp was 92F. Had to air up tires on truck and boat, clean out loose stuff and put boat on truck, and that worked up a good sweat, trip to dealer smooth except for road construction near Kingston. Oil change, gear oil change, added VessleView capability to motor, now I know how many hours on motor and when maintenance is due.
Covid update: Cooke total confirmed cases unchanged, down to 2 active cases, Montague unchanged, Grayson unchanged
Dennis quite the spread sheet, family stuff never ends. :confused2:

46 right now...high in the upper 70's today.

Left work early (1430) so I could attend a webinar and still be home for dinner. The webinar was 1600-1700...we knock off work at 1530 (start at 0700, but I'm always at work at 0600.
The webinar was about internal and external auditing...went OK...better than expected, actually.
After the webinar, I mowed about half the lawn...probably finish it up this afternoon...
