Good work day done...6 bucket loads rocks 12 spruce stumps remove first raking done,my back pockets are dragging but the shower and 2 popsicles I got enough life before early pillow time.

B2650 had it's first work all in all I give it 8 out of 10,maybe 10 out of 10 when the lower front field dries up for land scraping.

Hi Guys! Yep...much better today...no problems urinating. I've never pass a stone before, but that what I think it was...

Just came in from mowing about half the lawn...weather permitting, I'll finish tomorrow and, maybe, do some string trimming.

Have you found a good way to attach a new halyard to the old that will pass thru the pulley?
I always seem to have to pull my pole to restring it.

Yep .. pretty easy. I butt the end of old rope up to the end of new one, apply a bit of glue with a hot glue gun, and then a few wraps of electrical tape around both ends. I use the old rope to pull the new one up and thru the pulley and back down. Then double knot the ends to form the loop.

The first time I replaced the halyards, I skipped the hot glue and the electrical tape almost .. came loose. Now it's belt & suspenders.

I pull the knotted end back to the top, attach the flag, and raise it, bringing the knot .. back to the bottom.

My two poles are 30' long, sitting in 6" x 3' HD PVC sockets, each anchored in a cubic yard of concrete. So .. 28' above the ground. I could pull them .. but don't really want to.

BTW .. I've got an inverter module, in the Polaris Ranger, that I can power my hot glue gun with.

When I replaced the halyards on the sailboat I sewed the ends together with heavy duty thread. It might work to melt the ends together then cut them apart.

The new vegetable washing station is complete after a 3 month COVID delay. Simple waste water disposal system- five gallon bucket and field line. The rain collection tanks are not part of the system.

I made it, late afternoon, many screwups by hospital including sending me home with zero meds, nothing for tonight, tomorrow, etc, dumped it on assisted living place which doesn't have in house pharmacy. This includes my main chemo anti nausea med, even no Tylenol for headache. Simply hard to believe and this after my calling nursing station twice yesterday to remind them I need this.

However...place is nice, very small but everything fit. Put most away but now just too tired, time to go to bed. Got Kindle working after struggling with multi location password reset. My pillow awaits me. Had a nice cup of decaf earl grey to sip on, shouldn't have it after dinner but needed the calming, and it worked.
