retired doc friend turned me on to low salt V8 and it's been my healthy go to drink for years. Don, I think they need that amount of salt due to flavor of celery but most of us I think are used to some salt with vegetables, likely way too much. Regular V8 tastes way too salty to me, just what you get used to. I prefer pepper on most food. I do not automatically add salt to everything as I see many folks do. But if I would be sweating heavily, a little seemed to help. My sodium levels never seemed out of line. I often found a diet sports drink during summer would immediately make me feel stronger, though I wondered about what was really in there.

heard some rumblings that therapy people thought I was ok to get discharged by end of week, but cancer folks missed meeting, disappointing. Goalposts are just waving around

Thanks for the link, Don. I’d even think that training would be less expensive and more useful than the military equipment.

Good thing I’m not someone on social media or I’m sure some would be eager to take me to task for what I’m about to say. I find it disheartening that there is little to no call for dialog, simply one way demands, no we want you to change but we need to change also. Change is often a two way street.
I also don’t think social media is being employed in a beneficial matter, more an attack mechanism.

Don't worry, Rick, your kickback is safe.

I deleted the RG from the cart, then readded it, and the order went through just fine. Should show up sometime next week. So much for two day Prime delivery these days...

Never had 2 day Prime, but I do remember the good ole days of FedEx when we could get stuff same week. Now with the new Amazon shipping most orders get lost for a spell.

Social media is largely dominated by Liberals, and most of the outlets are controlled by them. In spite of the name, there is little tolerance for opposing views, and those posts are frequently deleted/censored for violating the increasingly restrictive user guidelines.

All this "taking a knee" by politicians, athletes, musicians, and others seeking notoriety only emboldens those seeking to dominate through riots and mayhem in the streets.

A friend of mine is thinking about moving from the SF Bay Area to Klamath Falls, Oregon when he retires next year. I read a news story this week where the residents there turned out in large numbers in the downtown area when they learned that troublemakers were coming to town to demonstrate, riot, and loot. Many of them were armed (Oregon has open carry laws) in what looked like full military outfits, complete with fully accessorized AR type sporting rifles. There were no riots, and no looting, in Klamath Falls that day.

I've no doubt that you and Don are right, but I guess we all have our preferences. I accidentally bought some low salt tomato sauce once; ruined the pot of chili I was making, as far as I was concerned. So I NEVER buy "low sodium" products. I do use some salt in recipes, but I NEVER use the salt shaker to add salt to anything at the table. On the other hand, my wife adds salt to EVERYTHING just before she eats it.

We have something of a rule back when we had gatherings here - No politics. While I suspect it may have been with hope of keeping friends friends in this environment, the conservatives amongst us pretty much agree it was just a means to keep the libs from having to deal with rational thoughts.

Thought about Thomas when the local weather guy was talking about the rains this morning on the radio. He started to say that it was circling around near Lebanon New Hamp... then corrected himself to Lebanon Missouri. Got a chuckle out of that, thinking "Hey, I know someone there!"

Rswyan, wife likes the Dr Scholls. She wears as a lift in her right shoe since her accident left her a bit lopsided. She says she likes as well as the way more expensive one we used to order.

Good to hear ... these are the ones I ordered:

Amazon.com: Dr. Scholl's HEAVY DUTY SUPPORT Pain Relief Orthotics // Designed for Men over 200lbs with Technology to Distribute Weight and Absorb Shock with Every Step (for Men's 8-14): Health & Personal Care

They're about 1/3 the cost of of the top-of-the-line Ariat's ... so I'm not expecting too much.

I've never had an orthotic ... I do have high arches though ... maybe something I should check into.

Most of my foot pain is the front pad, just before the toes. Worst on the outside near the small toes.

Her major complaint is having the left sole unused.

Makes sense ...
