Good morning!!!!

Good afternoon to all! Low dropped to 37 last night, wind gusts to 65 mph. Woke me up at midnight thinking the roof was peeling off... it was the wrought iron porch furniture being thrown about. Windows were rattling, major dust storm. Could not get back to sleep until around 2am, awakened again at 5:30, same winds going on.

Apparently the wind caused power lines to go down causing major outages in surrounding areas. We did not have any outages, but internet was nonexistent until this afternoon.

Today was doggies day out, both scheduled for the groomer in back to back appointments. That took from 8 to noon, going back and forth with the spoiled mutts.
The wind was supposed to decrease in intensity by around 2-3.... not happening... still having gusts to 45 presently, at least most of the dust has departed to Texas. Outside projects put on hold for today because of wind. Too bad because the high temp is only 72.

Randy and Dennis, sorry to hear about your family deaths, my condolences and prayers for the families.

Drew, at least you are still moving forward, jumping those hurdles as they come... you will finish the challenges.

Rick, .... I have a pretty good idea as to “ why “ John sent the radiator genie... care to elaborate more?

Kenmbz, Steppenwolfe, Drew, you guys are bringing back way to many memories and making me homesick.... I have been out of Bucks Co for 30 years now, I still miss it at least once a week....

I found out that Ellen’s cousin was 31, not 38. I hope they determine the cause and not just call it something.

I'm pretty sure .. I turned JR onto the RG.

I hope everyone knows I'm joking about the commissions? Although .. I have tried to be an evangelist .. for the RG and Fluid Film. I gave JR his first can of Fluid Film too.

Here's the nest the Carolina wren built in my hat. I don't think they are going to use it...the male often builds multiple nests and let's the female pick the one she likes. We all did that for our wives, right?

High today hit 89F, didn't seem too bad while I was out in it. Of course I wasn't doing anything other than walking ...

Shop stayed at 72F/21% humidity the entire day. Probably a good thing I turned on the AC this morning as I was leaving for TSC.

But then there really wasn't anything going on inside generating much in the way of heat anyways.

Almost have two levels of shelves done at this point, with one to go:

This should hopefully serve two functions: 1. Reduce the dust that tends to get on everything (air filtration/fume extraction system should help too), and 2. reduce the chance that a stray spark or hot goober will ignite something combustible.

It probably will brighten up the room overall as well, and should look even better once the front faces of the shelves are painted white.

One of the next things I need to do is get both fire extinguishers in there recharged and recertified.

Amazon delivered ... if the Lincoln helmets weren't quite so pricey, I really could have been styling' ...

Beanie fits nice and tight, gloves seem pretty decent for a cheap pair of gloves ...

Time to head back up and see what I can get done before the legs give out ...

Good evening all. 81F for the start, windy, mostly clear. Wind really cranked up gusts over 30 mph, sky stayed clear and high was 92F. Front came though dry and dew point went from 71 at 8 to 46F at 12. Cleaning lady prep this morning, then she put us off a day, went riding and wondered where the humidity was. After lunch weed-eated around house and flour beds, got my irrigation system turned on, and took a nap. After dinner wife and I went for short walk.
Covid update: Cooke unchanged, Montague unchanged, Grayson up 5 to 389 confirmed, active cases 54.
Kyle, is that why I am going so fast these days :)

RNG have fun with your install for the top n tilt
RS always good to get rid mystery goo and big fluorescent bulbs
