<snip>the bottom line is that 70% of us will get it, but most of us won't die.
We all die. We just procrastinate as long as possible.
why are we wearing masks when they say this is not airborne?
I believe N95 is the lowest rating out there, but whether you get a "better" filter, again, if not airborne, what is the point?
Seems like washing one's hands would accomplish more and don't touch eyes or mouth with unwashed hands...
Only some sources say Covid-19 is not "airborne".

Most seem to say the primary transmission is by small droplets, such as those created in a sneeze.

The cheap paper masks are only good to prevent a carrier spreading the virus and the N95 and up are needed for those people (such as health care workers) who are subject to exposure to people that are sneezing. And the masks need to fit tight.

So good paint masks all around.

Power to the People!!!!! Our PV system appears to be up and running again:). Plans for the rest of the day = Happy Hour and making garlic bread for the leftover potato leek soup that I made.

Hawkeye- Thanks. I really have no complaints about SunBug Solar® who installed, monitor, and maintain our PV system. Being tied into the grid is a whole different animal than what David has and what RNG is doing. Our PV panels' orientation is different than what is the ideal for off grid PV setups. We are oriented more SSW than pure south so our production peaks with grid demands.

Good evening all. It was a frosty 27 this morning and quite cloudy early. Cleared nicely in the afternoon and made it to about 40. The wife, dogs, and I will be leaving tomorrow morning early for a week on the Florida gulf coast. Spent the day today getting ready for our adventure! Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Frank

I was surprised to hear the medical "expert" say a few minutes ago that the masks don't stop anyone from getting the virus, only helps sick people from spreading it when they sneeze. Dr. Siegel said that if you're not sick, then wearing one only causes you to collect other viruses and germs on it and then you might touch the mask and then you face or eyes.

Still good news...the death rate in the US is still 0.0%...I haven't heard of any in Canada or Australia/New Z, where some of you live. Bad news (for us) is that most of the worldwide deaths have been senior men, often with other conditions.

So the medical experts read my post.:D
Men over 40 who smoke are most of the fatalities.
