18F here this morning, perhaps 1.5" snow last night. Freezing rain forecast for later today.

A degree or 2 warmer than yesterday morning at 20 degrees and wind almost zero. Did have a frost overnight so, green yard and pastures are probably over for the year.

Forecast is high 70's by Tuesday so ......... a short winter.

Yep, brown yard for 2 weeks until spring hits, you poor guy!

10F this morning. We only got about 1.5" of snow here- not that far from Randy, but ...

Apparently far enough, from about Mardela east got 9-12", down on the Virginia Eastern Shore they got 15" in places.

I just came in from 2 hours of plowing that white stuff, wind blows it right back where I've been. I got a wide path to the outbuildings, cleaned off the apron in front of the garage, made a few passes down the driveway, but the wind is covering up faster than I can plow, so I gave up before I got frostbite. Wind chill -6 when I started. I hope Buppies was right and this is the only snow we see this year.

20 now, high of 21 today, low of 9 they say now. But I'm encouraged with it already 20, it might hit 22 or 23 today! Whoopeeeeee!!!

well I certainly got my exercise today, many more limbs down by the road, filled up the entire wagon and just left it by the burn pile.
Next time my helper is here he can unload it. My back is much happier now that I am sitting down. Might reward myself with a dunk in the hot tub.

three separate cars spun out on the icy spot in front of my property, all stopped before going down into the ditch. They go from clear road to glare ice and are usually going too fast. Big rut from one of them.

Wife and youngest son seem to have caught a stomach bug again. Taking care of them. Need to find an opportunity to check chickens and feed cows. Sent oldest son to moms for the day.
