Good Morning!!!! 46F @ 7:15AM. Cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. High 64F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph.
Not sure if that's a lion or lamb forecast. It's not at all wet, but a 20 MPH wind is nothing to sneeze at. Well maybe it is; I'm allergic to dust!
Kyle, I hope you and Drew have good luck with your frosty young plants. Time will tell...
I wonder how they will test those BioMasks, Don. Don't think I'd like to be in the test group.

And there's still the problem of the virus entering through the eyes. I wonder if Amazon sells those bio suits like the doctors are using in the virus labs? Imagine the attention you'd get at the grocery store wearing one of those outfits!
David, I marvel at your ability to visualize the improvements you're making, then bring them to life. And now you have me wondering how all the digging and erecting going on here will look from a drone's eye view, or even space. And speaking of drones, how do you keep them from flying away on their own? From the reviews on Amazon, that seems to be a fairly common occurrence. A neighbor just posted a week or two ago that he'd found a drone on his property, and was looking for the owner.
But when it comes to miracles, Randy's taking the cake. I hope your health, and that of all the sickies out there, continues to improve!!!
I think round 1 of the electrical conduit is complete, for now at least. I hope it's good enough for the inspector, and that they can get out here early in the week. I'm more worried that the solar contractor won't be able to figure out how to get all those wires through the wall of the garage, but we'll just have to cross that bridge on Wednesday when he drops the solar panels off.
Well, the rebar and ratchet strap plan for holding the solar rack posts in place only sorta panned out. I was able to get two of three posts to cooperate, but it was a fragile arrangement at best. Plan B, using 5' lengths of 2x4 held to the post with a ratchet strap, with the other end screwed to a wooden stake, worked very well, though. Sorta got that idea from Ted's concrete forms, so thanks for that, Buddy! I even got a level line marked on all six posts last night, but it took working 'till 7PM and a headlamp to do it. By then the clouds had come in and there wasn't much if any sunset to enjoy, anyway.
That's OK, night before last's sunset was a doozy!
Even though the posts are up and plumb, they're probably not aligned properly, and I'm sure they're not at the correct height. I hope I can use some string and a tape measure to figure out what needs to be moved where today, and have a try or two with a saw or zip disc to figure out the best way of trimming them to length. Should be an interesting day...
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!
