BC/BS supplement? Had to look that one up! At those prices, Ron, my health insurance premium would almost double. If I understand correctly, that was for a MediGap policy that covers the 20% of the bill that Medicare doesn't pick up, right? I'm waiting on an MRI bill, too, and I'll be paying the 20% because it's still early in the year and I haven't met my maximum out-of-pocket limit yet. I'll be on Medicare next year, so I've got that long to come up to speed on how it works and what supplemental plans make sense. Where's a good place to start?

There are people that can help with finding the best plan for you. The problem with finding that person. Is so many a pedaling Advantage plans are paid a commission for selling you one. Best to ask around for recommendations for others.
There are some Advantage plans that are good.
What is the difference.
Advantage plans take over all the billing from Medicare and are not as standardized like Supplemental.
Supplemental pays Medicare 80% of the bill. Your supplemental insurance pays the rest. Plan F covers the most. There is also a high deductible F plan. Every state has a different cost. So you need to search out your state and county. There is also plans from A to N.
You should do all your research and sign up at least 3 months before you turn 65. You will also need prescription D if you choose a supplemental.
There is a penalty for not signing up within a given time.
Every person needs are different. If you have lots of Dr visits and test then F May be a good choice. Many plans have $25 Dr copays and $45 for specialists and other deductibles. My plan has none. Plus I do not need a referral to see any Dr.

40F clouds taking over rain wind over night.

Not much happen here today other than filling feeders watching 3 Tom turkeys enjoy there lunch and not stepping on my toes,short walk about notice lot snow flees.
Dinner watch recording might hit pillow early that way I get to pick spot before the kittens.

Yep it still floated, and we had to go through a vigorous medical exam before boarding. We had to correctly answer the two top secrete questions.

They had excellent vegan Indian food, my favorite was okra curry.

Kyle no special prep for garden it's only suppose to get to 29˚F tonight.

RNG I have learned from other people on TBN that other countries do not define the terms vegetarian and vegan as we do. So when I see some statements made I just chuckle.

Drew, hope the procedure will give you some good temporary relief.

Remember the mask will only help prevent you from transmitting the flu, it will not stop you from getting infected with the viruses.

Don, where are you?

Galveston this morning (windy 48˚F) after about 200 miles out at sea and to Mexico. Where it was 86˚F, back home now. I could have just got a t-shirt on Amazon.

There is no reason they have to make this so confusing and complicated. They could pay 100% and cover prescriptions and not require supplemental plans, etc.

Continuing cardio rehab three days a week, struggled a bit today with this head cold or what ever it is. Getting better at balance and steps almost daily.
I’m down another three pounds with no changes in eating habits.
I’m sorry to read that so many are sick or injured, prayers for all.
Bought a 4” drop hitch for the Ram to level my trailer. Had a visit from Ellen’s dad today, great guy!

Went to Ash Wednesday service tonight, very nice.
