Good morning. It's 64° and misting rain this morning. Out high should be near 75° this afternoon. The radar indicates we're not getting much more rain. Our next front is expected Wednesday with 28° for Thursday morning.

I started grading our ranch roads and driveways with the LP 8' rear blade and Woods grader plane yesterday and got about one mile competed.

Grading will continue today.

Drew .. good luck with your menu.

Looking .. does Turbo Tax support Canadian tax system?

Randy .. hope you get over whatever you've caught.

Ron .. I've started using rechargeable Ni-MH batteries in battery powered items that get used a lot .. like my WorkTunes head phones.

Hope everyone has a great start to your week.

Prayers to all.

Good point, Rick. I use rechargeables in my headlamp, game cam, and satellite tracker. But I've been through two or three brands now, and none of them seem to take a charge well after a couple of years use. The latest batch is from Powerex, and so far they've made it for a year with only one bad one.

Good Morning!!!! 45F @ 5:45AM. Sunny. High 72F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.

No, Eric, it would take 4 x 22 1/2° elbows to make a 90° corner, Maybe British corners are shorter?

Ray-o-Vac batteries of my youth were the worst leakers. But even Duracells will leak if left in something long enough. Consumer Reports gives the Kirkland batteries a good review, but I don't know what their warranty is.

Be a good time to suck on some Cold-Eeze, Randy.

Hope to get a good start on the PVC conduit today, but first need to lay out where they'll come to the surface with a bit more precision. And I still need to figure out if the gray electrical PVC needs primer for the glue like the white sprinkler system PVC does.

Sitting on the back porch yesterday enjoying a cool one at sunset, I heard the clacking of two young bucks horns as they tried to push each other around. Lots of tree frogs singing, too.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start!

RNG ... have you considered using these long radius elbows?

Good morning to all! Low of 29 last night, never got out of the 30s yesterday. The wind kicked up last evening, blew all the precipitation away. Howled all night, high wind warning for gusts 50-60 through tomorrow!

Eric, I guess the wind there made it all the way around the globe and back to us! I thought you were going to divert it south? At least the dirt was wet from the snow and rain so no big dust cloud! Unfortunately, with the wind, the gravel will have to wait.... it is going to be torture to see that pile sitting out there!

Drew, hope you get all your errands and chores done before the rain sets in. Enjoy the visit with friends!:drink::cool2:

RNG, Kyle is definitely correct, PVC is really easy.... almost foolproof  that hill / slope is much steeper than I comprehended by the description!

Randy, nice to hear that it is greening up.... I know you are anxious to get the new tractor out to cut....

Have to take max back to the vet this morning for follow up appointment, hopefully the ear infections are better... seem to be , he is acting like normal.
I forgot all about it, so need to call the stone quarry in a few minutes to see when they are delivering the gravel... might have to delay it a little later.

Everyone have a great day!

We had a very brief little shower yesterday afternoon; about .01" in my gauge. But the ground was already wet and still is. 55 degrees this morning, going for a high of 63 with a 16 mph breeze, gusting to 26 mph. I've been out string trimming around everything this morning with plans to mow in the next day or two. But the next thing to do is rake some of the little acorns from the live oak tree. As I've mentioned before . . . it oughta be illegal to plant a live oak tree without 100 yards of a house.

42°F and rain this morning, going up to 48° today. Rain is supposed to continue through today and into tomorrow, when it will change over to snow into Wednesday.

We had some pleasant days here for the weekend, sunny and in the 50s. All that did for me was thaw the ground so I couldn't do much outside. Rain the next two days isn't helping either. Still need to get the flagpole leveled up, but the ground is too mushy now.

64° F and .01 inches rain.

Back to project today.
Work on supporting structure and rafters for the upper deck cover. Goal is to get precut, painted and partially assembled for in place assembly on Wed.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

RNG, not sure as to “need”, but I always use the primer.

Definitely steeper than I envisioned.

Daughter made it home from visiting my FIL for the weekend. FIL is doing better overall, moved out of ICU yesterday, he should be able to get some rest now (also has window in new room so he should start sleeping at night and being more awake during the day).. really glad she's home, grand daughter 'bought talked me ear off.

Internet has been problematic over last 4-5 days, pretty much down yesterday (which really hampers grand daughter binge watching PJ Masks cartoons).. called them and got the standard script, reboot router, must be your wifi (I'm connected hardwire with my laptops). I had already done local troubleshooting several times before I called, so the agent wanted me to connect my laptop directly to radio (of course the same results).. started entering support tickets (using phone as hotspot) and got a voicemail this morning wanting to confirm I was up and working (I wasn't).. called them back after dropping grand daughter at school bus stop. The tech checked a few things and determined the relay I connect to had issues, fixed it in under 5 minutes..

Stay safe, prayers for all.

RNG ... have you considered using these long radius elbows?

Thanks, Rick. It wasn't easy, as a clerk sold me 12" radius elbows and told me that they were 24". Had to return them and special order the correct ones, which now await installation. Also waiting on a pair of steel rigid conduit 24" radius elbows for up at the house, where I couldn't meet the 18" burial requirement for the PVC...
