64°F and .09 inches rain. A non carport day ahead. Boy, my body needs the break. Up twice during the night with with leg cramps. Other aches and pains this morning.

I feel your pain, David. Literally. Hope you recover with a day of rest.

I got a pair of active noise canceling headphones that work via Bluetooth about a month ago, and man oh man, what a difference driving the tractor! My Kubota BX 25 is actually quite noisy, but with these headphones on and some nice music playing, I can barely even hear the motor.

Makes working on the tractor much more pleasant, as these things are so much more effective than just regular ear protection.

But how are you supposed to hear the tractor groaning when you try to pull away with the parking brake on or the box blade down?:laughing:

And don't you miss that ringing in your ears at the end of the day?:laughing::laughing:

So as to what’s ahead on carport.

Some trim for sure and still a bunch more screws. Will be adding some additional bracing, but first...

Two additional areas for roofing.
Approx 15x6 over the rear deck and approx 8x6 to tie in from existing deck cover



Then I will rework the gutters and catchment plumbing. Significant capacity increase



No plans to add another tank to the current 3kgal. We average 140 inches rain/yr. that would be nearly 40 tanks/yr.

Guess what? I have more gravel coming Monday morning! I am going to make a parking area for the travel trailer and utility trailer. This way they are out of the driveway area and tucked out of site (our view anyway). WooHoo! More gravel!

34F clear sky but the wind had little bit facing it.

Been good day for outside short walk and puttering,even got the snow banks push back hope for the last time this winter that's if Buppies doesn't surprise me with nor'easter
Mrs. hinting around for dinner out soooo guess I'll be nice guy and take her and even pay. :laughing:
We didn't get chance visit Kubota dealership guess that's on Monday afternoon plans for today list.
