Good morning!!!!

Welcome back stranger!!!!!

Hope all is well with your house project. Did you ever rebuild? Or did I loose my memory again? Lol

Nope your memory is fine. Did not get started unfortunately. First appraisals were too low, then 6 months laid off sucked away the savings. been working again since Thanksgiving week so we WILL try again soon as we save up.

I'm also planning some form of a family subdivision so I can find better comps (smaller acreage for house) and fix this danged appraisal issue...

Other Updates - I've had conversation with Nelson Long at WR Long to try to finally figure out the issue with my grapple (actually the 3rd function valve), I'm donating the 1988 Ranger Snow Plow truck with electrical issues, I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing with the 1996 F250 7.2 PSD snow plow truck (the motor is great, frame is rusted way bad) likely donating or parting out. Just bought a 2010 F350 XL 6.4 diesel 4x4 with Meyer's 8' plow (You might be a redneck if you've got 3 snow plow trucks...).

Still fighting for custody/more visitation with my now almost 11 year old daughter, still married (third time is the charm!). I started Gracie Jiu-Jitsu classes with my stepson a year ago and it is pretty cool, but I still feel fat and old but stronger, LOL...

I'm still the same old goofball n00b.

Any big changes 'round here?

God Bless & Be Well All,
David

A snowy 29ºF for today’s low temperature. The snow changed over to a brief period of mixed precipitation leaving a measurable 2.25”. The wind has been increasing all morning as the cold front starts moving in. It is currently 34ºF which may be close to today’s predicted high temperature. We are under a Wind Advisory now until 1PM tomorrow. Not much planned for today other than counting birds, moving firewood, feeding the wood stove, walking the dog, and cooking dinner tonight. I anticipate a windy afternoon with periods of sun and intermittent snow showers. Saturday is looking more likely to become a tractor snow management event.

RonJH- Good luck with your eyeglasses and your GI ultrasound.

Ted- Thanks for sharing your hole digging and implement pictures.

RNG- Congratulations on your new TBN status. Count me in on getting TBN stuff. Did TBN issue bumperstickers years ago?

Kyle- I think that RNG gets a secret decoder ring along with the secret signs and handshakes.

Paul- Good luck with the new flagpole re-plumbing.

David- Your Leer® cap looks good on your Ridgeline® and the dogs look ready for their maiden ride. Wifey had her teeth cleaned and there were no dental surprises.

Bruce- I was trained to pinch parallel to the thumb.

Rick and RNG- Thanks for the laughs. :D

Eric- Your ewe seems to have passed naturally. I am happy that you got to her before the scavengers.

David- Welcome back.

I hope that everyone is having a decent day today.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Kyle. No. We rarely go to beach ourselves anymore. Wife not confident in the surf and walking not stable in that environment. We are happy for the ocean view. But they do have our big pool that they rarely use, never go in on their own.

A later than usual RNG, good to hear all the solar stuff is finally coming together. Have you said thanks to all those Californian officials who made the last year so difficult ? - without them you would still be quite a few posts short of your "Super member" status

By that measure, Eric, I think we all owe a huge thanks to the ex-van mechanic as well!:laughing:

Good morning to all! Low was at 25 at 05:45 this morning, currently 28 at 10:00 and snowing, maybe a high of 34.

The weather guessers were almost correct... a couple of days ago, they initially called for snow to starting the early morning hours. As of last evening, they predicted the precipitation would not arrive until late this afternoon. Well it happened right in between both .... I guess that is pretty good.... we are now slated for 3-6 inches, but could get as much as a foot....

SuperRNG, congratulations are in order for the big step forward with the solar project. I hope the weather cooperates and you can get the steel pipe.

Jay, sounds like we are getting the same weather conditions as you are all the way across the country!

David, the Ridgeline looks great, I am sure the pups appreciate it too! I have been trying to find the time to get into the big city and look at truck caps for the Nissan... just not a priority right now. Maybe by spring or summer things will quiet down and I will have free time to go shopping.... YOU DO NOT GO TO THE BEACH? Wow, you live in Hawaii.... I guess it becomes old ?....

Has anyone ever used google shopping ? I ordered an ash vac through them back on Jan 2nd. (Being sold through CostCo), estimated delivery Jan 10th. Took until Jan 6th to get a tracking number which only shows awaiting item from vendor ....and still shows that as of Jan 14th. I have chatted online with the google customer service and they are absolutely clueless, telling me everything from you should have it tomorrow to just wait a few more days . I called Costco online ordering, they have no way to check status of items ordered outside of their system.... now the ash vac advertised / purchased cannot be found online through Costco.....

Now we are having internet trouble , anything google related will not load. Our IP had a message on the phone that stated they were having problems with DNS and mail services.... not sure if that is directly related to not being able to use google stuff.... they will not answer the phone to find out...

Frustrating to say the least.... I am going to try and find a phone number to call google shopping customer service.

I vowed to myself to not let the above issues get to me , but I was able to distract myself by doing other things..... now that I am inside today because of the snow.... watch out... I feel it building.....

With that said, everyone have a great day! Prayers sent as usual, but a personal one too, asking for patience ....

David/MFW, nice to hear from you.

labs done at doc's, no results, but at 4am this morning I woke up and actually felt better. Ran all errands, rv is full and ready to go.
Bought some ensure to take with me, trying to eat as much as I can and salting things I didn't use to. Probably will take me some time to fully get over this.
So....off tomorrow morning, first stop only two hours away, will be my test run. If I feel ok, will keep going but this allows me to turn around and come home easily
if I feel crummy.

I bought as 6qt IP to take with me, something to play with on the trip. And I actually figured out why I couldn't get the rv microwave to work, had to set clock first. Between the micro and the IP, I should be fine.

Buckeye, hope your FIL improves quickly. May I suggest you use cruise control as much as possible to get pressure off right leg. I have leg cramps and that helps we a lot
