I could make out a distant gate and could have sworn that I had walked straight to it across a smooth field, yet when I got there and looked back, the trail I had left in the grass was curved with zigs and zags - and I haven't touched a drop of alcohol in the last two days :confused3:

My trips to the barns look similar. I thinks its from my mind trying to remember what I was going out there to do. :confused3:

Good morning! 49˚ heading to the mid 80s.

Yesterdays electronic story below - long version for those retired and and short version those still working.

The long story: The newly repaired dishwasher stopped working the washing machine stopped working and I lost all electoral in the plugs in the dining room. I called a electrician out because this was above my pay grade. He hit the reset on a button on two combination breaker and it flashed 6 times and no flashes on a third button. He determined the fancy breakers were defective and went and got three from the electrical supply house at $65 for each breaker not including labor charge. The house is only 5 years old so after he left I googled the name of the breaker (Eaton) and found they have a 10 year warranty and called them and they said to take the bad breakers to home depot. I did but of course home depot did not carry that breaker in the store they were only on line so the store could not help with a refund or replacement. I then took them to the electrical supply where the electrician bought them and they could not give me a refund because the electrician bought them but could credit his account and I could get the money from him. I called him but while on the phone with him just decided to exchange the three breakers for 3 more new ones since I have about 15 of theses in the panel. When I got back home the M-Cell for phone reception, that had been turned off during breaker replacement, would not reset for my wife's phone even after rebooting it. She has the iPhone 5s which does not support wifi calling like mine. At&t stopped supporting the M-Cell in 2017 so now I'll be researching a new iPhone for her unless I can get her phone to accept the M-cell again.

The short story: Wife needs new iPhone to replace her 5s. Any suggestions on any good deals out there?

Really good pics yesterday of rainbows, sunrise and cranes among colorful trees!

Sodamo the three quarter ton truck works out well for us the 16000 pound gooseneck requires it and sometimes it will pull skid loader and mini ex both over 10000 pounds. We wanted something that rode good as well so this fit the bill. Still on first tank of fuel 17.3 miles per gallon. Hope to see 20mpg on the road

That’s doing good on mpg.

I use 3/4 ton to haul 1 ton pallets of pellets.

Should have bought next size tractor with larger loader to lift a ton. I split them and remove half ton at a time.
I need to get some this yr.

Impressive sky BEF. The rainbow looks like it's pulling the electricity pylon over.
!

I think the power lines energized the rainbow. It was really bright

.31 of rain last night, low of 51 this morning, high of 66 today. No more drought around here.
Visit to kidney doctor was very positive, best function level in years, once my cat scan is done next week I should be ready for that valve replacement. The only question is whether the valve will be bovine or swine.
Good days and prayers for all.

Good morning. It was 52° this morning and forecast to get to 86° this afternoon.

Maybe some rain tomorrow and Friday ... fingers crossed.

I tried out the rotisserie, in our air fryer, last evening with a pork loin roast. Salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder then 400° for 40 minutes. It came our perfect ... very moist.

Early voting has started so I'm heading into Columbus, to vote, this morning then, over to Weimar for a load of feed.

Great pictures of rainbows, sun rises, Fall leaves, and English Gentlemen stumbling around in the fog.

Hope everyone has a great "Hump Day" today

Prayers to all.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

It was a clearing sky 48ºF low after last night's rain; a mixed cloud/sun 53ºF with increasing winds presently; and I anticipate a breezy, clear and sunny afternoon in the mid 50ºF's. It's still too wet to do anything outside yet. It will be a great day to pick our squash laying in the garden and maybe fuel the tractor and do some rotary cutting. It's still too early for the final mowing of the lawn and perimeter paths with the rider/grass-leaf catcher.

"... Jay hope you work out your sweats or are they hot flashes."- Bruce. Thanks for the laugh. :D BTDT When I first got sick I was on really high doses of Prednisone enough to take out my testosterone and I started having all the female symptoms of menopause including mood swings, the night sweats, and hot flashes. Our female friends are "of the age" and sometimes when together we would all get hot flashes together. I learned a lot about "manopause"rolleyes: The self-administered deep muscle (thigh) injections of glue-like testosterone got really old quickly.

"... Jay hope you get rid of sweats maybe sugar related"- Buppies. You could be right; I really never made that connection until you posted it. Thanks for raising the ? I really should check my sugars during these events. When I do take my sugars (long after the fact) they look pretty decent. I do know that I tend to go hypoglycemic around "Happy Hour;" kind of a sad way to raise sugar levels.:embarrassed:

Eric- Thanks for sharing your pictures . You were just following the contours of the ground surface. What you really needed was a couple of stiff drinks and you would have made a straight beeline to the gate. ;)

Don- Good luck with the electrical and iPhone challenges.

I hope that everyone has a decent day today and those mending continue to mend and the rest of us continue to age gracefully.

My + thoughts and prayers.
