Good morning to all! Low was down in the mid 50's overnight and had a passing shower dumping .25" in the gauge.

Randy and BEF, I'm glad to hear you guys are still getting better. Kyle, hope you're daughter is also doing OK. Ron, my thoughts are still with you!

I have been really busy, still getting things organized and getting accustomed to son and DIL. I haven't been posting much, but I have followed along most days. We are still going through our stuff and paring down. Today will include clearing more stuff and then a dump run.

The knee situation has not helped with all the 'change' going on. The Dr's visit last week did not go well. Over the past 5 months, it has degradation of the joint and is now considered "bone on bone".... No wonder the pain and swelling is constant. The doc said in "rare cases", any surgical procedures can cause this, plus given the nature of the two injuries, he almost suspected it. I'm now scheduled for a full knee replacement surgery. OH Joy!!..... I have to be the "rare" one!..... His schedule is 4-6 months out, so I have time to contemplate this....

I hope everyone has a great day! Prayers sent for all.

Good morning, just back from church and grocery store. I’m mostly walking with a cane now, often with nothing at home.
I need a bit more sleep, I’ve had a strange sleep disruption for a couple of days. But I’m sure it will clear up.
Picnic went well, car games were fun.
BEF, keep getting better, prayers for all in need.

70 degrees this morning, going for 98 again. The yard was in dire need of mowing; hadn't been mowed in the last 9 days. The weather forecast shows no changes in the foreseeable future; hot and dry . . . BUT . . . we have a heavy dew EVERY day that lasts most of the day. I checked yesterday afternoon after 2 p.m. and the grass was still wet. So, I started with the edging and trimming with the string trimmer as soon as it was light enough, then I mowed with the bagger; frequent stops to empty the bagger, 3 heavy bags of wet clippings, and ran down the big battery in the EGO mower before I finished. One of the little batteries barely finished the job. I'll sure be glad to see the end of Summer.

72°F and .95 inches rain.
Would be nice if today was drier, but I see some football in my day anyway.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Finished first cup of coffee. 50 now, going up to 60 or so. Rainy day yesterday, but no rain today or tomorrow, so will be working on the garage siding. View attachment 620339

This is rainy season up here, so work has been a bit slow. We actually built this garage a few years ago, and it has been a local landmark because of the “Muskoka Siding“ (a.k.a. Tyvek). But, it is getting done now, and is going to look smashing!

48 right now...high in the mid-60's today.

Got the mowing and trimming done yesterday...then drank some Angry Orchard hard cider while watch more YouTube biographies

Today, I'll replace the kitchen faucet...
I like an angry orchard on occasion.

All buildings need to wear tyvek for awhile

She has her good moments, but she gets easily annoyed.
s.

My wife would say that about me.

I get frustrated not being able to do things, she gets frustrated having to do things for me..

Yesterday we discussed the lack of food on the house. Bread and peanut butter, 1 can of tomato soup was it.

So today she bought a couple cans of soup, some frozen burritos, and said she would drop me off at grocery store if that wasnt enough.

Happy anniversary DABSGT

I bet Lou knows this one...
good friend sent me these pics, said they were found in field next to his Catskill's NY cabin, wondered
if any of you could identify what it was,
which he described as a broken plow point. Plow? combine? age?

Drew, what is the size of that tooth?
