. . . . . . . .Larro were the hot poppers home made. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Yes. The last two years I've grown the Mammoth Jalapeno. {also some saved seed MJ this year} The bigger peppers makes everything easier. Margie has been doing her easy recipe. It's just cream cheese, cheddar, "real" bacon bits and BBQ sauce, then baked instead of fried. I have pictures on my work laptop. Will try to remember to post one.

errands done, lot of running around...
went to River, passing all kinds of boats and cars being pulled out of shoreline homes and brought inland far enough to get on a higher spot of lane.
Happens every hurricane here. . . . . . . . . . .
My side yard turns into a equipment yard when the river floods. My neighbor down by the boatramp has to move all his stuff out, and I'm the first high ground with a acre to spare.

Looks like it's going to move a little tonight. Top wind speeds are down, but wind field is increasing.

Back from Missouri, will catch up in a day or 2. 71F for the start, not sure of cloud coverage, or wind. Partly cloudy sky this evening, with high temp of 96F and HI 101. Drove home today, 8 hrs moving time, 9:45 total time, lost about 30 minute to getting out of service stations slow fast food, traffic on road etc. Boat trailered well, new Ford towed it well got 14mpg going, 11.5 on the return.
Prayers for all

I have forgotten why you try to kill off the thistle...other than they can be pesty weeds...do they harm the sheep?

In favourable growing conditions, which our climate often supplies, Canada thistle can completely dominate grazed pasture, leaving little grass left for grazing. The sheep's face is scratched when they get tempted to eat the lush grass that grows around each thistle. These breaks in the skin make it easy for a virus called orf to enter, which we have seen a couple of times. Orf is highly contagious, with large pustules forming on the face and inside the mouth.

It can be transmitted to humans too. I have not caught it but if I did I would have to live in the dog house :(. Would have to build it first too. :)

The sunlight is dazzling this morning, bouncing off the wet ground after some heavy rain at dawn.

Got tired of playing hide and seek, so ordered a cheap temporary replacement until the prodigal spanner decides it's time to return.

RNG, 300 people sharing 2 porta poties ! Probably a good thing there wasn't much food on offer
