I always wear long pants and sleeves, hat, safety glasses and nitrile gloves when working with gly, and don't spray when any wind. I don't use any other chemicals except lime and 10-10-10, and an occasional shot of tick spray when the seed ticks start showing up in the woods.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 51° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 81° with plenty of sun. Did not get anything done yesterday. 4 different people from Hospices came to help with Betty's care. Next few days are going to be tough.

Having GBS and being on temp disability really makes me want to retire. Health Ins plus a kid in college is why i work....

wow what a waste of a morning. Doc was an hour late, and instead of suggesting the operation, like the referring doc thought he would, he said
their entire practice was down on inner ear injections, but then he said we really don't have all the answers, and it might help you, it might not.
Left with zero new info, told me to stay on low salt diet and that's all I could do. Maybe....
Very frustrating to have a disease for which there appears to be no cure.

off to mow lawn all afternoon. Gorgeous day out.

RNG, I've made some good friends at that JD dealer. Too bad JD didn't make a tractor in my price range, not with what I wanted on it.
Same place that did a very professional job presenting their product, but 20 grand more was nuts. And same place I sent a nice check to the salesman
for his help and time.

I told the service manager I only had 90 hours on a 200 hour oil change, but to make this worth his while, please change oil and filter.
He told me oil was perfectly clean, Rotella full synthetic, and to not waste my money. All good.
Yes, next time, like last time...I will go them first. Mighty expensive product though.

Yesterday took an unplanned turn. As I was about to unmount the backhoe, realized that I didn’t want it just sitting there unable to be moved until Zi could hook it up again, which might be awhile. Decided I needed a dolly. I do believe I was influenced by Drew’s chipper saga. Found some really great 8 inch castor wheels that 15 years of storage hadn’t been kind. Pencilled up a design, found some available 2x6s, cleaned and painted everything. Will finish assembly his morning.

BH dolly is on my wish list. Mine is off for only the 2nd time in ? Yrs. Would be nice to be able to scoot it around.

Any of you folks use Paypal? I got an email from them today to let me know that Facebook was now linked to my Paypal account to allow automatic payments. I didn't know any businesses were linked to that account in such a way! Fortunately, the email also gave instructions for managing that link, and I was able to go in and find that not just Facebook, but Ebay and a couple of others were. I deactivated all of them, then went through the rest of the security settings and turned off a few other things that I saw as security weaknesses and was able to deactivate. They were found under the gear wheel icon at the top of the Paypal page, after logging in, under various tabs. Sheesh, the nerve of these companies!

I have not used Paypal for years. They "locked" my account at one point and could not explain why.

Tried some new jackfruit tacos for lunch today. Wow, there were great!
The taco shells (were air fried) and filling - "jackfruit meat" have absolutely no oils or fat added.
Also Plant Based so no cholesterol.

Found the box of pre cut and marinated jackfruit at HEB grocery store.

Checking In:

We and our friends had a great time at the Red Lion Inn (est. 1773) yesterday. Last Winter we hung out in the hotel's jacuzzi during a snowstorm. Last night the jacuzzi did not seem so appealing in the rain. I recently discovered that there is a haunted room there and the ghost apparently has a foot or toe fetish. Brogen got sprung from the doggie gulag after we toured a nearby botanical garden this AM. The Tundra needs some cleaning again. Those dryer sheets actually help with the dog smell if left under the front seats.

Ron and Betty you are often in my thoughts and prayers.

I used PayPal for almost all my (numerous) drone related purchases and never had any real issues with them. Their customer services department actually helped me get refunds on several occasions. I have not used them in a while; I should check my settings. Thanks for the reminder.

Drew- I am sorry to read about your ongoing tinnitus challenges, past ineffective treatments, and differing opinions as how to treat.

Now I always have "Spring Peepers A Peeping" in the background. I've been on and am still taking a couple of those listed meds and I have had a couple of knocks to the noggin which probably has not helped.

Don- Thanks for the links. I've been working on "Living in the Moment" and "Mindfulness" for many years; I am still working on it; and I'll probably still be working on it till I am history. It's not easy.

I’ve had tinnitus since I started aspirin therapy 20 years ago. Sometimes it gets really loud, but unless I’m conscience of it, I usually ignore it.

PayPal has been ok for me over the years. The only real mistake they ever made was about 4 years ago at Christmas they gave me a 55 “ TV.
I ordered it from Walmart and used PayPal online, with store pickup. So in about an hour I got an email from Walmart telling me the TV was ready for pickup. And I got an email from PayPal that their system was backed up but go ahead and pick up the TV since it was December 23, and I’d have it for Christmas. I went and got it, hung it a couple of days later, started checking my PayPal and the TV hadn’t showed up. Well I called them after several emails got me nowhere. They asked for transaction number, I didn’t have one because it hadn’t gone through when I got the TV. I kept going in circles over the next month or so and finally I just quit and said thank you.
