Good morning!!!!

Good morning all. It is looking like another day where the only clouds in the sky will be plane vapour trails.
Not too hot, just very bright. I am longing for a day with a little more shade.

David- Good luck; hopefully a breakthrough soon.
Time to abandon Plan A on pipe. Metal detector only a $50 cheapy, strong enough to detect the rebar and mesh but not the pipe
You sure gave it a good try though. Sorry you've got to go to a new plan.
David sorry you have to go to plan "B" hopefully will not include cutting concrete.

I have been feeling real sorry for David too, all that entertaining effort coming to nothing.
Or maybe he is only playing with us - perhaps he didn't break through in the last episode of series 1 only because the Discovery Channel producers want the tv screening of "Lava Island Tunnels" to run to series 2 ?
:)

only 49 degrees here, brrrr. But that cool weather is about to head back home.
Bright sun headed up to 82 today, then 90's in rest of ten day.

Nice water pics, quite the houses, no poor people there...
after housecleaners leave, I'm baking Meditteranean kale bread from a recipe given to me
by head of food pantry. We are trying to find ways to use Kale, and I picked a nice batch of it last night
to bake with today.

Work party coming Saturday to pick last of collards. After picking over 800 pounds of the stuff, the current seniors are
tired of picking it. We agreed we'd hit a goal of a 1000 pounds of collards, and call it a day/year. Actually, some of these plants may still be usable in the late
Fall for holiday collards, found at most tables here, though I have no idea what I need to do to manage it until then other than bushhogging the tops.
Lots of local knowledge to tap here.

My beets in the air fryer last night were delicious, root vegetable setting, sprayed with canola oil, pepper, garlic powder, basil and a touch of curry.
But.......two big pork chops wouldn't fit in there, guess I should have bought larger model. So I froze one and cooked the other, and with a Caribbean Mango
marinade, that too was yummy. Since I had to cook them pork chops first, then the beets, the different flavorings worked.

I think it is very telling that my Hispanic helper who works full time in a local pig farm refuses to eat pork. Not a faith issue either, he thinks pigs aren't safe to eat based on all the shots he has to give them. I think it's more than that but interesting.

Coffee is done brewing. 42° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 76° with mostly cloudy skies. Wiles Dr appointment went well. Pull a few weeds yesterday. No weed killer because wind was to high. Today may be the same. More weed pulling and couple of small projects on the list.

Drew, meal looks good.

David, hope the LP line project works out without cutting concrete.

Mostly, like the pictures.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

Good morning! 65˚F heading to the mid 80s.
I now know how to scroll saw. The instructor said our class was good because we were able to stay within 1/2" of the lines, (unlike some other classes). The blade is so small that it will fit in a 1/16" pilot hole. We did not break any blades. He said this is a lot like sewing and the women that sew are the best on the scroll saw.

Tonight's planing class was changed to Friday the same time as my router class one so I had to cancel and sighn-up again in the summer.
This Dewalt scroll saw is really smooth but you really have to keep your fingers close to the blades so the wood does not jump up and down.

Before the class we had a hiking meeting and after the class there was a comedy show in the ball room, it was a filled day.

Old man winter is back! I thought I sent him down to North Carolina so folks down there could have a share of cool weather.
26 °F and going to a high of 52. Wind NNW 8 gusting to 21 mph. Periods of rain. So far none.
The T-storms from last night didn't materialize either.

The guy that was going to haul the Jeep called yesterday afternoon to say he was sick and wouldn't be down 'till next week. Maybe the weather will be more favourable then.

I think I might get the ride on mower back up and running today. There is only about 5 or 6 cuttings on it, so I don't think the blades will need sharpening.

Have a good day all
