Good morning!!!!

we all park terribly at times. But most of us, when we look back at our car, will go back and repark it if we really botched it.
Not that guy...bozo to the 9th.

mowed with the big tractor and finishing mower for several hours, nice day, then fixed a big rut on my roadside caused by someone, my money is on a local cop,
pulling a U turn in the middle of the road, and got one rear tire down in the wet ditch. What a mess he made. Had one tire on grass, one in mud, must have
had positraction to get out of that soup. Someone was powerwashing off their car today, probably jam packed with cat o 9 tail stalks all up underneath. They grow there and now there is just a big rut where they were. Most wound up on the lawn, but that vehicle left with some for sure.

then watered garden completely, takes about two hours from start to finish. I find it relaxing.
Beets are plumping up nicely. This is a Chiogga, the pinwheel striped one inside.

think I'll get myself a glass of wine and sit in the hot tub.

In spite of the forecasts warning of possible high winds, hail, and such, we just had a normal rain that ended around 1 p.m. My gauge got a total of about 1.5" today.

Back door front dropped through about mid afternoon, temp went from 79 to 61, got cloudy and windy from the east. Marine layer clouds and the ocean water temps are here now.

The guy that parked his truck had to come from some drastic angle, because coming off the street he almost couldn’t get that crooked.

Got to my destination for the day, 600+ miles today. Was hoping the storm would pass over us tonight, but looks like it arrives in AM just as we will be leaving.

I had someone park so close to me once, i had to get in from the other side and crawl over the console. As much as id like, will not damage someone elses vehicle.

What's your technique? I put the bucket on the FEL, drive the tractor to the collection site, then walk around with a 5 gallon plastic bucket until it's about half full. Walk back to the tractor, dump it into the bucket, move the tractor back to where collection stopped, and repeat. Lots of bending over, lots of jumping on and off the tractor seat. Not a lot of fun...

That is exactly how I'm doing it. My wife also has a 30 gallon? water trough strapped to her 4 wheeler that she fills up. It is tedious work for sure. The roller is working great. I'll still go around and check to make sure all the rocks are deep enough so I don't have any chance of hitting them with the haybine.

Even after I cut I plan to still go around and collect rocks, I want them gone.

I carry a valve core removal tool for just such occasions:punch:...

Don't take the core all the way out. Just crack 'em loose a bit so they leak slowly, then put the cap back on a tad loose, too...:stirthepot:

I don't do that. Not saying I haven't carried and/or used one in he past ... but, I don't do that (now). I certainly hold no grudge against those who do, especially when so richly deserved.

Congrats, Ron.

Nice pair of inclinometers, too. Mind sharing where you got 'em? Mine have succumbed to the weather and are almost impossible to see...

R&B Manufacturing. They were a vendor on TBN. May still be.

I do not know why my first link said Forbidden. :confused3:

I won稚 damage a vehicle intentionally either, I had just enough room to pull forward and get over enough to get out, it was very new truck with temporary tags on it. I hope his judgement improves, some would not have been so kind.

Kyle have you tried Diatomaceous earth food grade.
It alway worked good for us. Do have to apply after every rain. Takes a couple of days to work. But it does it's job when insects are small.

Diatomaceous Earth Food-Grade Diatomaceous Earth, 1 lb. at Tractor Supply Co.

Diatomaceous Earth (food grade): Bug Killer You Can Eat!

I bought some BT liquid, which is supposed to be organic. I do have some diatomaceous earth, I will put some on if it ever stops raining. If you step into my garden, you will sink 8" I also have a black light flashlight, which kind of lights them up a bit. Not like scorpions, but a bit.

Happy Birthday to your eldest son.

PJ,
I heard a woman attacked her husband with several of his guitars. When the judge asked " first offender?" she replied, no, first was a gibson, the second was a fender.

LOL.....She could've hit him in the alvarez.

A couple of weeks ago we went to a family restaurant in Delaware, when we came out this is what I found, my truck on the right, idiot on the left. View attachment 603845

Perp is probably on dope. especially if a paper license plate.

I carry a valve core removal tool for just such occasions:punch:...

Mounted on a cordless drill?

Years ago, I saw a guy put a large dent in a car that parked so close to him, by opening his door hard into the perp's door.

We did have a tornado warning at work today. We all took shelter in this one area of the building. AFAIK, the tornado that was spotted, bounced back into the sky. No reported damage. Everyone had their smartphones out and our wifi router (which is pretty fast) got overloaded.

Good evening all. 62F for the start, thunderstorm in progress. Temp got down to 58F, rain quit about 1 PM here, emptied .7 out of the rain gauge at 8AM, close to 2 inch back in tonight. Still overcast, and high temp was 68F. Men's meeting this morning, into energy conservation, dog woke us up at 5AM to go outside and pee in the rain. Working on Katy Trail ride in mid-June.
Ron happy Birthday to your son :cool2:
RNG, thanks for the video. looked like a fun weekend.
Lynn, what makes you think the soil will run out of rocks?
Bill thanks for usr report on chainsaw.
David have fun as tourist, hope restart goes well on project.

Good day playing tourist, but long. Gone almost 10 hours.
Picked up replacement parts at HD.
Primary goal tomorrow is get last 6ft section thru.

Am wondering which might be a better method?
A. Driving with the sledge hammer
Or
B. Attempting to pull drill with my backhoe, assuming I can maintain a straightline pressure for say a foot or so before repositioning.

Tried looking up impact force of sledge hammer, but apparently not that easy to calculate.
Backhoe can apply somewhere around 2000 pounds pressure.

I raise my hand and say bad idea. You are likely in the eye of the comprehensive camera system installed on the stores.
The guy suffers a blowout on the interstate going home at 70mph and takes out three cars in the other lane head on.
And all because you opened that valve stem.
Sorry...insurance underwriter training, you can't kill someone for parking like a fool. Air in tires is a primary safety issue.

Obnoxious, offensive belittling sign put on window, you bet.

One nice thing about an all around camera on a car, you can see exactly where you are parked within the lines. I have to put Audi
in reverse to activate that. Can't tell you how many times I have had to repark my truck when I got out and found myself crowding one side too much.
To me driving is a skill and how I park reflects that. Others clearly could not care less and that doesn't seem like it's going to change anytime soon.
Oblivious is what I often think of some parkers.

another nice day today, high in mid 80's. No cramps last night and slept well, a nice improvement.
Mowing roadsides today on a beautiful day.

I liked those inclinometers too.
