Good morning!!!!

58ーF and cloudy this morning, going up to 69ー today. Expecting some rain overnight and into tomorrow. Heard yesterday that we are at 15" so far this year, and normal is 10". It has definitely been a wet Spring here.

Got to play on one of the old Bridgeport mills in the tool room yesterday at work. We needed to open up some mounting holes on a bunch of Case/New Holland hand rails, and no none else was available to do the work. So, since I needed to do a 100% inspection on them anyway, the Quality Jerk volunteered to do the drilling as well. Nice change of pace, and more fun than sitting at a desk most of the day.

When I got home from work, I had to help The Wife catch one of the male ducks, who appeared to have something wrapped around one of his feet. Turned out to be a small section of hay bale netting, probably blew in from the neighbor's. He seemed glad we got it cut off for him, even hung out with us for little awhile.

Kyle, I am all too familiar with G.A.S., which I've always called Gear Acquisition Syndrome, as it applies to pretty much any music equipment. The struggle is real, as they say. These days I've been actually attempting to pare down my pile of equipment to just the stuff I really use. It's not easy parting with any of it, but I really don't have the room to keep a lot of it, much of which I simply don't use since I retired as a BarStar.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!

A mostly cloudy 50ºF low this AM at 7:00AM, a hazy sunny 57ºF presently; a mostly sunny low-mid60ºF’s anticipated. Today is s gift for me; I had anticipated intermittent rain showers today. It was a long day yesterday. I/We had to drive 24 miles east one way for the PT and then pass our house to drive the 24 miles west to bail out Brogen and his chariot Tundra. We are backing off on the PT for Mr. Knee as his supporting Mr. Ankle’s 6 screws, 2 pins, 1 plate, and some wire making their presence known. Definitely slows things down to an even slower pace on projects. My last scheduled PT is tomorrow, Wifey’s birthday. I plan on making dinner reservations at a nice little restaurant/bar overlooking a scenic part of the CT river and the Shelburne Falls and the Shelburne Fall’s Bridge of Flowers, and Sunday at a locally famous restaurant. Brunch there = no further meals needed.

Drew- I am impressed with your rows, energy, and commitment to making this World a better place. I hope the “tinnitus” resolves:(

David- Good luck with the dentist. I need to restart my 1/4ly schedule.

….. Good food all around, good company, and a fun time for all.

But now I think I need a good long round of recovering.- RNG. I am happy that the meet up went so well, and you made a new friend..

Randy- I am sorry to read about Ellen’s finger challenges. Some individuals are not good at self-regulation of physical activity with the resulting pain.

Farmer- I hope you shake the GI bug quickly. Bite guards really work. I hope that your Wife’s bite guard works for her as it does me. There are reasons all my molars are all broken, cracked, capped, cracked capped, and re-capped.

Don- I had to do a “double take” on that display. Thanks for sharing.
Bruce and Lynn- Thanks for sharing your Worlds. Pictures put things in better perspective.

…. 400K away from my pension with the stroke of his golden pen. Of course the corporation was still able to give him millions in pay/stock options. It sure would be nice to have that money now that I'm retired… -Lynn I am sorry to read about your Buy-Out experience. This BS should be criminalized. My State pension was re-scheduled to the State’s benefit.

Steve- Thanks for the laugh.:D

I hope that everyone is having a manageable day.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

 One of the service department guys at St. Louis Music back in the '90s had made a scrap doodle band, complete with stage, roadies, and a small but always growing audience. Band name on the banner at the back of the stage was "Kester & the Tin Solders".

Good Morning!!!! 75F @ 8:15AM. Mostly sunny. High 89F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

Hoping for continued gradual recovery for those on sick call, even if it's only gradual. And patience with the slow progress.

Still cleaning up after the weekend; mostly repackaging leftover food and feeding it to the freezer. Somewhere in there I think there's still a package or two of last year's lasagna! Also still finding stuff folks "put away" for me, not necessarily in the correct place. Makes for something of an Easter egg hunt.

Took all the spacers out of the van's transaxle and front diff mounts as they didn't seem to be making a difference in the vibration level. Since the driveshaft was already out, I decided to take a test drive, and the vibration was still there. At this point I think the driveshaft itself is not the problem, and that maybe there's still a tire balance issue even though they've been balanced twice now. Or it could be one or more CV joints; there are eight of those that could have been installed incorrectly.:confused2:

The recent run of sunshine has grass and weeds really popping, and the pre-emergent I put out has apparently reached the limit of its effectiveness. So more spraying is also on the agenda, probably after a preliminary round of mowing.

66°F and .24 inches rain
Drew, you are amazing as usual.
Good to see some lost faces around.
Still no energy from this flu bug even though I’d like to think I’m feeling better.
Crown prep went well. Forgot how good my dentist is with the shot, that part I dread most going in.
Not sure the day.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
