Good Morning everyone!!!
An 8ºF start to the morning. Ice crystals were floating around and on the ground reflecting like diamonds in the beam of my headlamp early this AM. Today's high temps should hover ~30ºF.
Nothing planned for today other than feed the wood stove, walk the dog, and continue focusing on the ice on the driveway and walkways. Too cold to use CaCl2 at this point in the AM; warm enough to throw some ashes around. Freeze, thaw, and re-freeze is a daily cycle around here. It does keep things (like walking) "interesting."
Buppies- This is one potent storm. I hope you have sufficient fuel to manage your snow. Good luck. Your region does not have the snow management resources as most of NE. Please keep us posted.
No snow for NE until maybe this coming Friday-Saturday and it may be a snow-mixed precip to rain and back to snow again event. The models are in agreement until Friday then they start to diverge on phasing and tracking. The maps generated by the models are pretty decent.
Ed- I enjoy/enjoyed reading your posts. I look forward to reading them again at some point. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for you and yours. Take care.
Eric- I enjoy your posts and perspective from "across the Pond."
om21braz- Welcome to this thread. Good luck with the snow management. Please keep us posted.
I hope that everyone is having a decent weekend so far, there are no new injuries, and those mending are still mending and not over-exerting themselves.
My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for all.
