It's nice a round trip to the store is 15 minutes instead of an hour. Had Cholla hot sauce Chipotle flavor on my spaghetti for lunch and it gets a 5 star rating. It's a mild heat that does not drown out the smokey chipotle flavor. It has a good combination of white apple vinegar to sugar ratio to enhance the flavorful peppers. I used about 1/4 bottle and will be trying the other flavors through out the year, or month If I continue this amount of usage. Thanks for the tip.

We are going to have to get our wheelchairs reclad in tractor design. :dance1:
Actually some of the powerchairs they have now are really cool, one guy drives one down a local road which
seems like a really bad idea. Golf cart with lights and reflectors would be a lot safer, if legal.

You are sounding like people in a retirement community.:D (When you move in two years . . .)
Here in the neighborhood Golf Carts are street legal as long as you put the turn signal/brakelight/headlight kit on them. Some are geared to go up to 35mph. Golf carts here can access a small grocery store, Walgreens, a pub, Medical clinic, post office, two restaurants, gas station, real estate office, golf cart sales and repair, physical therapy, dentist, bank, Edward Jones, 3 fitness centers and 6 pools, pickle ball, tennis, basketball, softball, gardens, primitive trails etc. . . . .
They are also decorated for parades for the Forth of July and Christmas and caroling for those with trouble walking.

Oh, I almost forgot, and to use on 3 golf courses.

I should post that the individual who gifted me the quote "one does not age gracefully nor well" which was one of her many responses to me after I had to intervene on her behalf with the two on-scene police officers responding to the reports of "an old lady recklessly driving her power chair in the highway in front of the longterm care facility where she resided and I worked.

Don- I think that pimped out walker is a DIY job. I've never seen anything like that unit in the medical device catalogs. A offroad walker could/probably will be used around here;).

I had to check. An all terrain walker and a powerchair:

I can visualize it now- A TBN "food fight" thread about the advantages of R1's vs R3's vs R4's tires on walkers. Use of chains, etc.

thanks Ron. A potato is really an excellent sustaining food, just don't always glom it up with dairy products, chili, ketchup, etc.
Home made baked french fries can be really good.

got my tiller off and the front grapple on, after a trip to Tractor Supply for the necessary *** change parts.
*** change you say? Only hydraulics...and nice I could pick it up and watch it when engaged to see if it leaked, which
thankfully it didn't.

Pulled a small pine tree out of nearby field's ditch and that was my seat time for today and the coming week.

39 and windy, sunshine but cold, I haven’t done much today. Visited mom, my brother was up from NC, had a nice visit.
Need to push tree clippings into the woods but I’m woosing out with all this cold.

Back in house. Got Quickjack assembled test and moved into barn. No pictures. 8 weeks of doing almost nothing has me worn out with no energy leftover to do anything else. I did 6k steps today. That is a normal day when I get my strength back.

I take one Rx pill. The other 3 are recommended by Dr. OTC stuff. I do 4 weeks at a time. I hate doing it.
Wife takes so many pills I cannot keep track of them. Last I checked 6 of them are Rx. The rest are OTC. So far she is able to keep track of them herself. I do have to order them for her.

Since we got a air fryer. French fries done in it are one of my favorite foods.

this is quite a storm heading across country. Record snows in areas, huge amount of rain in Texas again. Thankfully by the time it gets here close to the coast the temps have warmed, but we have heavy rain predicted tonight and all tomorrow. 15-25mph winds. Greenhouse should be ok in that, though I just might go sink a few more hold-down screws today. A little more cheap insurance. Storm isn't going North this time, so tomorrow morning at least I'll be driving out of rain instead of in it.

very lazy day yesterday after realizing I really had to stay off this foot or it would never get better.
Hmmmm. A common thread?...

The reality of geriatrics? Filling morning and night pill boxes for two weeks, dropping the pill into the wrong day, having to fish it out without
spilling pills, dropping one on the floor so it always goes back in to the dark recesses under some cabinet.
and when done, a sense of relief, got that done for two weeks.

Always said I would limit the pills I took to whatever fit in those little boxes.
AMA wants me to take more and sleep most of the day. I chose door B. Even then I would like to get off modern medicine and try plant based, like CBD. I already take fish oil and turmeric-curcumin. Never found the shark stuff to help at all. Might be a consideration on where my last home is, what State. I don't trust the internet on illegal substances, well illegal in NC.
I'd rather ache than go to jail. Or have a felony conviction in some backwater court presided over by a born again judge. It just isn't worth it.

Drew, Have you thought about the fact that some of us are born again and that it is very important to us?
Have you thought about how you would feel if I used Quaker as a derogatory term?
Have you thought about giving your word not to do that again?

Born Again is a holy term to me. The most important thing in my life because it is my relationship with Jesus. Ed

Sorry Ed, sure no offense meant and my point was when Faith overrides rule of law, not that any one faith is deficient in some means.
There are a lot of holy terms in this world Ed that mean a lot to people in different meanings.
Muslims get upset if a picture of Allah is shown. We celebrate Jesus and show his picture of course a lot.

I'm happy if you're happy in your faith no matter what it is Ed. Again my apologies for seeming to insinuate anything else.

I can assure you that no mention of faith or religion will ever be written by me here again.

Glad you liked it, Don. But since we seem to have similar tastes, you might want to give the lime flavor a pass. It seemed sour, not like a nice lime at all. Then again, lime isn't a flavor I associate with hot sauce anyway...

Thanks for letting us know about your "vacation", Ed. Enjoy the time off, and feel free to drop in once in a while to let us know how yer doin', OK?
