good morning all. 26 in Markham VA, about ten degrees warmer than they predicted.
So full yesterday at dinner time I could only eat half a piece of apple pie. Still feel full...
But a very nice time with family.
Coffee is brewing , heading home around 9am, past Black Friday shoppers

Getting ready for work. Drank my 2 cups of coffee. Looks like it is a 0 degree start of the morning with a high only in the 20’s. Need to dress warm for the day. Wife’s birthday today. Will pick up some flowers and a card. Having a small get together with family tonight. Left overs and cake... yummy!

Coffee is done brewing, 24° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 42° with mostly clear skies. Like other not hungry this morning. Don't even feel like I need a coffee yet. No Black Friday shopping for me this year. Bought 1 item from Costco yesterday. No plans for the day except rest my arm.

28 going to 41. Will be too cold to a little more painting. Still have some cleanup from Thanksgiving dinner and turkey frying. Either my fryer burner needs work, or the freezing temps kept the turkey oil from staying hot enough...so had to finish it off in the oven for a half hour...was still good.

May go hiking and to the gym, but staying away from the busy stores today.

0F now mid 20's for high clear sky.

Fed little critters early this morning one could hear long distance being so quite and cold.
Plans for today...might make run for critter food,wheel barrow load kindling for Mrs.,have some good college football to watch,and date night other than that :confused3:

Snow will be gone today with sun and temperatures in the 40's. It's a community feeder. What birds can not feed at the top have to feed off the ground. I did put an extra amount of cracked corn on the ground yesterday. Thanksgiving treat.

Not that cold this morning 27°. Yesterday was was in the mid 30' with snow showers part of the day. End up with about 2 inches of snow. Today's forecast is different then the winter weather warning. I guess We'll have to wait to see which one is right.

Didn't do much yesterday, worked in the garage some and watched a little bit of football. We did have a nice dinner.

Not much going on today.

Happy anniversary an happy birthday to all who are celebrating them.

To have a foot of snow this early in the season is unusual. I will post vids as the winter progresses.
I remember in Toronto one winter we were on 'snow removal' in February. I had a 450 John Deere dozer I used for a sidewalk plow. No street pads, but the grousers were pretty well worn off. No cab, winter coveralls, skidoo boots and mitts. I was a lot younger then (1980) and could take the cold better.

Looking at the scale. Not gonna get on it! Warmer today, but snow forecast for Monday, so I think I will check out the snowblower at the shop, make sure it’s running, have gas, maybe change oil. The one at home is ready to go, Maybe get lunch with the wife. And harbor freight is having a Black Friday sale.

Good morning! 55˚ heading to 76˚ as the clouds leave this afternoon. Tonight they light the square for Ed's Anniversary, so we will have to attend. Need to take the Whip for a walk and see the decorations going up.

21 early, 33 now, around 40 later I’m told. Had a nice dinner, all our kids and grandkids and lots of food, this is what it looked like about half way through.

68°F and 1.37 inches rain
Yesterday was wet and soggy but didn’t dampen our spirits of 33 thankful people. One guy unexpectedly had to work and one lady could suddenly make it. Had table seating inside for 31 so close enough. So much awesome food.

Mostly cleaned up, just need to freeze some leftovers, get my turkey soup going in Instant Pot and put some chairs away.
