Ahh nice lunch and a 5 mile dam hike. We may have to make this a tradition. Hiking temp 59-63! Oh, lake is full, they are still releasing water.

Lots to be thankful this year. Our very gracious neighbor brought us a complete Thanksgiving Dinner. Another neighbor brought a pecan pie. We are stuffed. Still have a full chicken and other fixens in fridge.
Had a daylight visit from a deer enjoying bird feeder dropping’s.

Good evening all. 33F this morning, mostly clear sky, calm wind. Wind came up some, sky stayed mostly clear, high temp of 63F. Slow day, thought about Christmas lights but did not go any farther, did do a 20 mile bike ride, and watch some football. Thanksgiving dinner was eaten at the lodge restaurant, nice buffet. Smoked turkey, conventional turkey, ham and salmon in dill sauce, about 6 kinds of pie, sweet potatoes, 3 kinds of potatoes, 2 green beans and salad. :licking:

Happy thanksgiving folks. We had a good turkey day, invited a couple of neighbors, a 12 lb turkey worked out good. Even the dogs got some. I have a lot to be grateful for, and I enjoy reading of all your daily adventures. Have a good one guys!

I think I wrote what our Thanksgiving dinner would be, so I won't repeat. Not real fancy, but mighty tasty.
Plans today...well, wife is going to a doctor's visit (stepdaughter will take her) and I'm going to hang out with the dog...
I should NOT be up this early!!!

After looking at the forecast and then shivering in the moonlight while taking Max out last night, I was surprised this morning to see the thermometer showing us to be a couple of degrees on the liquid side of freezing. My plan for today had been to get down to the softest field with the tractor while the ground was frozen and finish what I should have done when it was dry in summer. Never mind there is always another day and an excuse generated by nature for yet again not doing what I had planned is as good as they come.

Good morning all, 25 going to 38 and partly sunny, 70% chance of a wintery mix tonight. Hope it is not an instant replay of last time. Today wife and I celebrate 20 years of marriage. In some ways it seems like yesterday, and in others it seems like 100 years. I am blessed.
