My rain gauge just passed the 2" mark and it's still raining. The NWS thinks it ought to quit by 10 p.m. tonight.

I used a kit from Finishmaster, their SMART tintable bed liner. I like the fact that one kit could be used for both the white fiberglass pop top roof and the black bumpers. I even used some for undercoating. Used a Schutz gun to apply it, but it can also be put on with a brush or roller. Had I the bumpers to do over again, I'd add a little reducer to smooth out the texture a little, so that's another variable you can change to your liking.

K&N units are legal flame arrestors, they flow way more air than the average flame arrestor, I ran them on my boats for many years. The velocity stack with 4 inch tall filter was good for 12 hp on an engine dyno, over the steel arrestor that was supposed to be high performance.

Good morning all. 55F for the start, rain, empty rain gauge from yesterday, calm wind. Wind has stayed light for most of the day, rain ended about 7:30PM, and high temp was 58F. Tomorrow's low will be close yo today's high . Not much on the schedule to but make a new fender bracket. All I had was .010 roof flashing, my shim stock collection a casualty of down sizing. The ol fender hanger was .025 so this will not last long either, but hopefully get me by tomorrow. Home depot should have some shim stock thicker than what I have. Squirrels are acting like they plan on nesting in the garage, so put out live trap.

Two and a half inches of rain yesterday brought my total for the first 19 days of the month to 10.25 inches. And the NWS says we will have some sunshine and temperatures up to 70 degrees today. I'm glad of that, since I have to take my wife and her sister about 75 miles to meet some other family members for lunch today.

Went bowhunting yesterday evening. Had about a dozen turkey vultures start landing in a tall oak about 35 yards away, one at a time. They sure are clumsy and noisy. Later a merlin (falcon) came zooming up and curved by me at eye level. I guess I know what a prey feels like. Landed about 20 yards away and starting calling.

Good morning all. 61 out, rains coming in shortly as system moves East.
Indoor day, going to build a rolling kitchen cart this morning. I have very little counter space and I'm hoping I can move some things to the cart
to declutter. I am serious clutterer...........

chest is clearing up, still sniffling, still don't feel overly wonderful, though coffee hitting me sure feels good. Headache, neck hurts, woke up thinking oh just lovely. Heating pad on neck, this too shall pass. Had a nice dinner out at an Italian restaurant last night, food was good but too salty for me.

yesterday I built two end tables, typical Amazon knockdown furniture but honestly surprisingly nice for very little money. Now waiting for two table lamps to go on them and reinvention of sun room completed. The greenhouse kit showed up yesterday too, UPS guy was groaning, though surprisingly small packages. Just rods and sheets of polycarb, all in a giant erector set kit.
My fireman neighbor said he was looking forward to building it for me.

Poured first cup of coffee. 39° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 52° with rain mid day. Nice day outside yesterday. Got the blower out and blew a bunch of leaves out of gardens and around back patio. This morning the areas are covered again. May do that today. No other plans.
