Drinking first cup of coffee. 59° with light rain this morning. Heading to 74 with cloudy skies. Nice to work in less than 80° temperatures. Got a couple small outside projects done between raindrops yesterday. Going to cut back fields if it dries up enough. Otherwise I will work on leveling soil and putting weed blocker down where I removed a tree a few weeks ago.

Anybody use post operative cold therapy. WroughtonHarv and now my son suggested it to me for post surgery recovery.

Eric and Randy, take good care of your eyes.

73 outside this AM, cold front moved through a few hours ago. Will bring rains later. Need to start getting metal up on the run-in.

Serious scope creep lesson learned with SO on that project.

It's a cool 43° this morning, yesterday was in the low 80's and partly cloudy. Today is going to be about the same. They don't show any rain for the next week are so. I did notice that more of the trees are starting to change.

We got everything done in town yesterday that we needed to do. Not sure what the plans are for today.

72°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 77° today with spotty rain and storms expected most of the day. Looks like the precursor of Tropical Depression Gordon is upon us. Going to rain here all weekend.

No idea what that means for my Honey-do List (or the "Deckasaurus"), but I'm sure my Wife will have that all sorted out and fill me in at breakfast tomorrow morning.

Take care with your eyes, Eric. Most of us seem to lose some vision as we age, so no point in speeding along that process.

It was 75° here this morning with forecast high of 89°. Whuuuu? We’ve not had highs in the 80’s for several months.

Likelihood that it won’t rain is 60%.

Heading into town to get horse feed then back for some rear finish mower time.

At least the Tractor A/C won’t have to work so hard.

Even the very limited rain, we’ve had recently, has really greened everything back up.

Follow up visit to doc this morning, progressing as expected. Gotta go back on the 24th for a checkup. Swelling is much better but still have good bit of random shooting pain in the area. Doctor gave me a sample of Lyrica for the nerve pain, not sure I want to take it, I’m getting by on Tylenol.

Upper 80s today, down to low 70s by Sunday, with NE winds of 20-30, that’s the club picnic, out to be interesting.

I have to try and mow before the rain hits later, y’all have a great day. God bless.

Congrats on the anniversary, PJ. And the Hawaii pics are great. Our boxer is sleeping, she’s really good at naps. I lost a good friend this week, retired dairy farmer, fellow lodge member. We have been having lunch once a week for several years, as part of a retiree group. Great guy, never cuss word or anything negative about anyone. The funeral is today. A lot of folks will be there, he is very well known and respected, and he is related to darn near everyone. We are all going to miss him.

sorry for your loss 300Uguy. I noticed as I get older, more of family and friends are checking out.

Daughter and granddaughter that lives with us are going camping this weekend.. should be interesting. Wife and I get quiet at the home front. Not a lot on schedule this weekend, need to do some maintenance on travel trailer, mow lawn, nap.

Our favorite missionary visited last night, pulled pork and beef on smoker. It was good hearing the stories of the eastern Europe and the work being accomplished. Next year marks 20 yrs for her as eastern Europe missionary, she comes back to the states for 4-6 months every 4-5 years (short 1-2 week trips as needed also).

Yes his table is awesome, so is the view (better in person).

Today is off to a snorkle cruise and tomorrow is the long trip back to Virginia.

Big Island is very lovely.

I've try this w/deer in the past very interesting at times mostly when bucks are in rut.
