got everything done, burn pile is filled up all over again.
In between I mowed for an hour, have more to do but said forgeddaboutit.
Even the help said they had enough; was glad to send them home so I could come inside.

We have an area between the sunroom and the kitchen that is our "drop zone." It's also the laundry room. There are coat hooks on two walls, and several shoe coves for our various footwear. One is a bench with coves in the bottom, and storage under the hinged padded seat. Pretty convenient. There's also a small table holding a small trunk which contains various dog leashed and harnesses, as well as work gloves.

I worry RS is chain smoking away at night working on a heart attack duking it out in FP.

Figured out basic menu planning for my house guests, such decisions, Boss Hog (where the leftover barbecue turns white
overnight in the fridge), Statestone Grill (1/4 mile away greasy spoon) or Bill's Hot Dogs,
where you always order them "all the way". All the way to stentville, yesiree. Actually I am doing much of the cooking and it will be healthy, including going to the docks an hour East of here and buying fresh shrimp. I don't think you can go wrong with Shrimp Scampi but some folks don't like garlic.

We were able to schedule a factory tour of the Grady White plant next town over, where these super expensive boats are made.
Too rich for my blood, and my friend's too, but he wants to see how they are made and compare that to what he saw in a factory tour in Florida near his other home. What he was looking at for 250k with another boat line would be 450k with Grady White.
It really is one of those deals where you do a double take and say that boat costs how much?
Grady Whites are even more expensive than Boston Whalers.

You don't get a lot of boat for half a million dollars. :confused2:
Not with the requisite three or four giant outboards on back, for the look. Two just don't cut it any more in Miami...
And it's worth half of what you paid for it in five years.
That's the real budget buster, the huge depreciation loss, but some including my friend only buys new.
He's looked at used but unless they "look new" he wouldn't buy it. I tell him to keep looking for some neatnick
who got 2 foot-itis.

On the opposite wall of the "Drop Zone" is the washer, dryer and a sink. The door of the drop zone leads to the attached garage. We have our doggie drop zone by the back door where we have a console table for leashes, collars, back door hats and exit to take the Whip for a walk.
100˚ again today.

108 Heat index here. Over at the Marine corps base it is 110. Nice. I called it quits moving stuff around and look like I fell in the pool.

No joy from my Kubota dealer. So I talked with the sales rep about the service to date. Since the service guy never called me back after he said he would...and my mower is not here with me. We shall see in the AM. But I heard that before too.....

I'm not sure why he is rebuilding the sheep wagon, I never asked him. But I know when he was a kid he spent a lot of his summers in one. His family raised sheep and cows in this part of Wyo. At one time they owned the land that our subdivision is on.

The wagons are still used today and they look just like the one we are working on. The sheep herders still live in them year around. Every year they move 5-6 herders past us early in the summer and again in the fall. They take them up to the National Forest for the summer.

Believe it or not the sheep herders only make about 800 dollars a month, with room and board. Most of them are from South America. Talk about a 24/7 job they are with the sheep all the time.

But you got me curious about why he is doing it, I'll ask him tomorrow.

Good evening all. 78F for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Sky stayed clear, breeze picked up for a while slowed down about 11, high temp 100F. Cold front coming through about Sunday, chance of rain Monday. Morning started with Men's meeting, then bike ride, lunch, nap( 2hours) which made it too late to take boat out .
Don, nice drop zone.
Drew, tour of a boat factory sounds fun, even if you don't want to buy one.
Ron there are many options for sugar free electrolytes, both ready to drink and powders.
