Good morning all, 67 going to 90 with a 20% chance of pm T-storms. Need to mow again as I have been just far enough behind that it leaves a mess of clippings the last two times I mowed. Will see how hot it is. Not sure what else I will get into.

Kyle, when people expose their faults to other we should pity them and not let it bother us. Sorry this happened.

Lot going on guys, prayers sent along with wishes that each of you have a great and safe day. Ed

I read with fascination Eric's descriptions of working outside in England.
Always thought that would be interesting, cool fog blowing over your head,
sheep in the meadow, rolling hills to look at, seems idyllic.

though it seems like he lives under a lot more rules than some of us do.
Zoning can be wonderful and it also can be a nightmare, particularly really old zoning.
I grew up in a 1720 house and the old deeds are wonderful reading. If you can figure out the jargon.

And where did all of the ancient old rules come from? Mostly England.
The Royals have been making rules for the Commoners for a long time.
And where did bureaucrats come from? Well, the name is French actually...
Of course some of the greatest wisdom our American ancestors could have been given
they not only ignored but tried to destroy. Wisdom of the Land from the American Indians.
The ends will never justify the means. So many countries have looked back in shame to what they
have done in the past. Politicians and Generals and Religious Crazies.
Maybe we could put them all in a big room...:D

time to get a move on
Y'all have a nice day

Buppies, thanks, sorry I asked actually. yes, sweatband day, but I'm going to try to superglue myself into the seat of the small MF pulling the utility trailer along while the other two do most of the work, or I'll be in the a/c cab of the Kubota lifting one of them up high. Two guys, one muscular, one slight, no question who gets that heavy power pole saw. Of course I will have to show them how to use it so I'll do a few...only a few.
Just don't want a hack job...need to prune, not decimate.

I always feel better after drinking a no-cal sports drink.
I sweat so much I have to replace the salt, which I normally don't use in food.
So three flavors of something in the little fridge in barn. Need to turn a/c on in woodshop and cool that room down.
Gets stinky moldy smell in there if I don't. And there's a seat in there with a fan aimed at it, my cooldown seat. Ahhhh.

I haven't looked at one in several years now, but before we moved back to town, I bought one every year and used its recommendations for planting my garden.

We seem to currently just have perpetually the same weather; hot and dry; upper 70s to upper 90s each day. I started working on the yards at 7:30 a.m. yesterday and didn't finish until 11:30 a.m. This old age is tough. By the time I came in and got a shower, I could barely get around and am still sore this morning.

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 67° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 80° with scattered thunderstorms in afternoon. Need to cut grass in between thunderstorms. No other plans for today.

Drew, nice lawn. I do not have access to FP.

Prayers for all those in need.

Good Morning All.

Good morning! Lot's of sun 78 to 100.
The "Drop Zone" has been dropped in place but two doors needed to be repainted, they looked OK to me, but the builder is very particular so he took them back to his paint booth to re-sand and paint. They should be back this morning to finish. I'll put the stone counter top on and get the cushion for the built in bench.
