Good morning!!!!

good morning all.
Cooler day, high in upper 80's, perhaps rain this afternoon. Thunderstorms in forecast every day now.
Don, thanks for tree protector tip, I already have a dozen of those in use, ordered another dozen this morning.
I think they look ugly and are training wheels for landscaping but until new help hopefully eliminates the need, they
work well.

Off to get a haircut and food shop this morning. Then I have to work in the fruit orchard and strip a dying apple tree of problem leaves and get them out of the orchard.
The tree has been sprayed twice in two months, all the others look fine. That's two dead trees this year out of 28. The apple tree may come back next Spring so I will leave it .
Another small apple tree simply did not make through the winter.

My next big project is to lay plastic down in between the rows in the garden so I don't have to deal with weeds any more. Will mean getting a little Mantis tiller or something similar but
anything to reduce weeding for next year. I ordered another big roll of that landscaping fabric and Amazon reports Your Package May Be Lost. Lovely. It's a big heavy box, I'm guessing the inadequately strong cardboard box holding the heavy roll got ruined in transit and it's sitting in some corner some place awaiting paperwork. The other smaller roll I ordered came a week ago. The smaller role was the one I needed to start with so I'll give them another week and then reorder.

Hot dry weather has slowed down lawn. Good thing considering my current situation. Calls out to several prospects, interviewing Hispanic worker tomorrow morning.

Wishing you many many more trips around the sun Kyle. :)

Prayers and good wishes guys.

68 here this AM. Heading towards mid 80's. Mowed yesterday. It was a nice break from all the stuff I don't consider fun. Wife ran out for PT, so I did the work on the run in that unsettles her. Grabbed that stupid no-throttle chain saw, the chevy and a ladder. Evened out and cut those warping poles so I could get the roof on when it shows up. Turned out to be hotter than expected, chain saw at least would start right out every time I moved the truck. May have to look at it later, again.

The grass was really high in spots. Plus I got this mound of dirt that is about 18 inches in diameter that showed up. I think it is some kind of mole. But I kid you not, 18 inches? What says you all. Of course it is right in the middle of the "yard". Of course!

Unsettled weather after today, so a trip around the property with the weed whacker is on order.

Have a great day all, good w/e too. Be safe.

Poured first cup of coffee. 58° with some clear skies this morning. Heading to 82° with good chance of rain in afternoon. Not much planned for today. PT in afternoon. Make an appointment to go back to orthopedic doctor next week.

Some of the questions asked on questionnaires that seem to be filled out each time we visit a doctor. Seem very inappropriate. Almost like they get a kickback for referring a patient to the doctor or service that can treat the answers on questionnaire.

Farmer, my wife tried different mask. Ended up with a full nose and mouth mask. Also got a different machine because the original one kept building up pressure until her cheeks acted like a balloon. Current machine releases the pressure.

Good Morning All.

All this talk about cool weather and rain sure makes me jealous. We're in pretty severe drought conditions, and this morning I went and did our grocery shopping at 4 a.m. while it was ONLY 90 degrees going for a forecast high of 109 today. At least I wasn't out in the sun.

Farmer, my wife tried different mask. Ended up with a full nose and mouth mask. Also got a different machine because the original one kept building up pressure until her cheeks acted like a balloon. Current machine releases the pressure.

I guess there's a reason they make so many different models. When I went for the sleep tests and they concluded that I needed the CPAP, they first tried a full nose and mouth mask, and that didn't last but a few minutes. So then we tried the nasal mask and that's what I'm still using.

Good morning! High 70s to 100++++. RNG, right, cell phones now instead of quarters, I forgot. At that time my wife was going to college and she said she had to study and not to disturb her, when I took off I was on my own. Only had one crash when my tire got caught in a crack while on a curve. I slowly made it back just little bloody. Even back then I seemed to have an over amount of flats. Just waiting for the sun to rise and then I can start adding miles. I hear the Golf Course crew zipping by in their gators with their headlights on time to get out while the oven is still preheating.

edit: Thought I was doing really good this morning until I realized my cateye cc7000 was set on km.

down hill speed 47km/h

converting - top speed 29mph (ok, down hill, but I was flying again)
total distance today - 12 miles
I reset everything when I was figuring how to set MPH so average speed was lost.:D

65 going to 87, and we have rain chances every day for a week...I should have dug my 3rd and last French drain, but the ground has been so dry and hard.

Don, great that you got your bike going and 3 miles is good for a first ride. You're tempting me...but my old 10-speed is a now a rust bucket.

Farmer, hope you get a comfortable mask and sleep like a baby.

Visited the San Diego zoo many years ago...unbelieveable! and the Cincinnati zoo, and the National zoo in DC...both great, but like you, Randy, I've always liked the Norfolk zoo. Spring (mating season for many animals) and many flowers is my favorite time to visit.

Got my free Harry's razor and shaving gel kit...used for the first time last night. Will give it a couple more shaves and then post a short review. At our age, we've likely decided on a method of shaving (or not shaving) and tools to use...but always interested in trying to improve.

Lots of chores on the list today...didn't get many done yesterday after roasting coffee.
