Supposed to be 82, its 87 and rising. We need rain badly, grass is brown and crunchy.
Hope everyone is having a great day, been a fruitful day getting stuff done and resting. Worked on Ellen's El Camino some, getting close to having it show ready.
Beautiful day in spite of the dry heat.

I notice that the Salisbury Zoo is free; no admission fee. The Dallas, TX, Zoo used to be free, many years ago, but they finally decided that too many mothers were letting their children out there instead of paying for child care, while the mothers went to work. So you can imagine the problems with large groups of undisciplined children roaming the grounds all day. So they finally started charging admission.

I always enjoyed visiting zoos, and while the San Diego Zoo is perhaps one of the "best" or biggest, etc. and I did enjoy visiting it, as well as a number of other zoos around the country, I think the San Antonio Zoo was the best I ever visited but that was so long ago that I don't know how much it's changed and whether for the better or worse.

And we visited Binky in the Anchorage Zoo a few years before he became famous for trying to eat an ingnorant tourist.:laughing: Polar Bear Zoo Attack - YouTube

RNG, you asked about the Eastwood 110 piece tap and die set. Like it except for the T handle tap wrench. It has rounded jaws so there is no way to hold a square tap head.

Eric, I would not try the tea thing, from what I remember they got pretty nasty after that. Hope things go well.

Bird, went to a zoo / croc farm in Thiland and one of the girls with us got bit on the finger by a leopard. Just one tooth and held her finger for a bit and turned her loose. We were petting them and tigers.

The Norfolk Zoo is, or at least was, a great zoo as well.

Ive been seeing starlings flocking for about ten days, and now the blackbirds have started small flocks, as well some smaller birds. Seems 2-3 weeks early, but maybe not.

Mowed a little. Grass was real tall by the road.

Getting camper ready for a weekend trip in PA. First trip this yr. Air in tires, water in tank (only electric spot). Probably no internet.

Kyle. Happy birthday.

Last night was interesting. Woke up about 4 times gasping for air and holding my mask. The last time I had trouble going back to sleep. Wife said she could tell if mask shifted as I’d start to snore. My mask just has a slit in it and it sets under my nose. While awake if you open your mouth it feels like it takes your breath away. Therapist said that was normal. So I don’t know if I was opening my mouth in my sleep or something else.
I’ve also had pain in my lungs all day. I wasn’t as tired this morning as normal but still tired. No more energy yet. Wife thinks I’m not used to my lungs getting full, and this machine adds pressure to get them full. So it’s causing discomfort. I have 30 days to find the right mask on the company. Therapist isn’t back in till Monday. If this waking up continues I’ll be going back for a different mask Monday.
