Ted, count me in the wife/knee priority camp, both much more important than happy neighbor unless there is a compromise that gets all three without detriment to first two.
Funny about the money part, my “extra” money comes from our rentals as I’m very reluctant to withdraw from our investments. Wife doesn’t see it quite that way. If I push too much she will tell me IF we can’t afford to live here then we should just sell everything and move. Of course she knows that would be my very last choice and of course there is no other place she wants to move to.

That's the challenge, but as posted one needs to keep wifey happy as a priority. I like the idea of oversight of contracted work.

Don, what's this about cutting the okra and getting slimy? I was just going to snip off the ends and do them whole, after breading.

Cut it like you buy the frozen in the store (1/2"). Microwave it or steam it a bit to get the slime flowing and then put it in a bag and shake with those breading ingredients. It will be fat free, unless you need those extra fat calories.

Good evening all. 80F this morning, calm wind, mostly clear sky. Sky did cloud up some, wind became breezy, and high temp 103F. Went to chapel, made breakfast, sorted out some of the boat gear, helped friend with wireless printer.
Don there is a barometer on the GPS unit I have that has the elevation change. In the past a site that I use to upload GPS data to (ride with gps) can also provide that data.

Thanks for all the input guys...I kinda was straying towards the wifey, she always seems to be right about stuff like this. I always find it hard to turn down making a buck or two. Neighbor said 'no hurry' so maybe it can get delayed for a few months and timing would be better.
