Good morning!!!!

Worked in the yard loading the piles of grass cuttings that wife left with the sweeper. The kubota bucket and the the AgriFab trailer holds about 4 and 5 piles respectively. Long way to go though. Loading by armful after armful is the best way I've figured out so far. Kubota bucket with tooth bar tore up the yard when I tryed it.

Some weed eating got done. Mostly around the trees and rock walls.
Place is looking "presentable" now but long way to go. IMG_2700.JPGIMG_2701.JPGIMG_2702.JPGIMG_2705.JPG
Carpet guys showed up for cottage and promptly told wife that the doors had to come off the two rooms because the carpet she ordered wouldn't fit under them. No problem she thought for me. But between the doors, closets, and cubbies built into the attic bedroom I had 10 doors to remove! All well and good until I realized at the first hinge they were all old paint encrusted slotted straight screws and the pins couldn't be removed. I barely out run the installers as they worked on the other room.
Guys did an excellent job though.
Now I have to refit the doors and see what needs cut off each one.

Off to dump before forecasted rain to get rid of carpet, Home Depot for Phillips screws for those hinges and then the farmers market.
Best wishes to all.

68 and misty foggy cool, going to 88...probably more rain. Rained all day yesterday, but at least it never got above the 70s.

We are having about the most creek and field flooding and ground saturation we have ever had living here for 33 years. Local kayaking/whitewater river is flooding due to floodgate release at the upstream dam. Forecast looks good after today.

Ed, congrats on the new tool...I bet you would have liked to stay and talk with your old friend a bit longer, though.

Eric, thanks for sharing that neat photo.

CWB, I bet your cooking isn't really that bad.

LS, hope things cooled off for you and you get some rain.

Two sons that were visiting have both gone, so need to make a Costco run and restock.

That sun burn is not good Drew you and I both know better

yeah, I put sunscreen on and then come in and wash up and forget to reapply. I now put spf70 on my legs when I'm mowing.
Legs get baked after three or four hours out there.
I may look like I have a GQ tan right now but it's not a healthy goal. I'm fair skinned and tan/burn easily. Thank goodness for spray
sun screen and spf rated shirts

Nice place, Lenny!

Gosh it sure it. Like the before picture on the Scott's fertilizer bag...the layout is great with gentle slope rises. Lots of shade too.
I'm seeing chairs and a table out there with a big umbrella and a dripping pitcher of iced cold lemonade.

Good morning! 74˚ heading to the high 90s cloudless sky.
Ed, excellent project and you have already named your first piece of art - sanity!
Lenny, you have a good setting with the white house, large trees and rolling yard. We all know how much it takes to maintain it to the park like setting and it really looks great!
Eric with the time difference I think that that deflection of the aircraft probably coincides with the plug in of the microcell. You really have to watch out what people on the internet send you.:D
