59 going to 84 and sunny. Yesterday felt great with low humidity.

Farmer, good luck with your new chicks today.

Glad to hear Whipper has been out on her new style patrol duty.

Roasted 3 coffee types yesterday, then decided ground was dry enough to hitch my trailer and pick up another ton of gravel at the quarry. Topped off my French drain, and will unload the remainder today...I'll just stockpile it so I can take the trailer back again before they close today. I think my food plots may have dried out enough to till and plant the first 3 today...I'm about 7 weeks behind due to wet ground.

We've had a pair of quail start hanging around the yard and fields, so I won't be bush hogging as I planned...hope they are nesting.

Hard to believe it's already the middle of June. Enjoy your day today.

70 going up to high 80's, little cooler than yesterday.
Up at 1am in hot tub getting rid of leg cramps, too many hours on my feet yesterday I guess.

off to do food shopping early, then back for cleaning ladies, then get ready for potato picking tomorrow, and a friend coming for dinner tonight. So, busy day...

Ed I saw a couple of those home made ones. Funny I really could make one myself; bought an Everything Attachments cultivator/hiller.
Works great for hilling potatoes but I found I couldn't use it due to not being able to bend my neck to watch it behind me.
That's when I bought the Super A. But what a perfect set up for a home made planter, not me riding back there though.

very upset that rabbits got into garden and ate a bunch of my sweet potato plants. .22 is coming out.

Melon Alert! good thing I'm growing my own...

Me too. The really only internet here is SuddenLink. They must have had some type of deal with del web. They also provide land line, cable TV, internet and home security. I did not have 80-300 channels in the country and I don't want them now. The cable people here seem to think people cannot live without the weather channel, ESPN and the 24 hour news stations. I educated them. The OTA guys from the TV shop came out and said I can get free OTA TV with this: Amazon.com: Winegard GS-22 Sensar III Digital Ready Antenna: Home Audio & Theater and they have installed many in Sun City with good viewing results. I also returned the modem from Suddenlink internet service and bought a better NetGear modem so I don't have to rent their equipment. I'll end up with about the same set-up as in the country but with a much faster cable internet for about $10 less a month.

Whipper is up to two a 2 block walk without loosing her nerve.

Don, I posted info on cell boosters for AT&T that you asked about.

Don
I had the AT&T Microcell. When it went out about a year ago, tried to get them to replace it. AT&T said it no longer supported and I should turn on WiFi calling.

They sent me the new version abut 18 months ago and it works fine here.

Good morning all, 54 going to 84 and sunny. Took a huge pickup load of trash/junk to the dump yesterday. Did not do well with the hot humid day and was wore out last evening. Can't imagine trying to keep up with Drew. Today I will get some stuff loaded in the box trailer that will go to the storage unit. Will just leave it in the box trailer and take it later. Supposed to get an email when they ship but wife has to check email so I don't know what her fathers day present is.

Drew, Hope the potato planter idea works. Be careful out there and don't do to much.

Don, I remember the figuring out time we had when we moved here, still going on to some extent. hope things turn out well.

Farmer, Hope this flock and you do well.

Prayers sent for all in need. Have a great day. Ed

A nice 64 going to low 80s, getting Buppie’s heat next week though.
Saturday got a tractor/ hit and miss engine show, birthday party and cruise in, Sunday is Fathers Day, gotta go visit Ellen’s dad, my mom and see what daughters surprise for me is, when does it slow down? Oh well, paraphrasing the old song, I’ll rest when I’m dead!
Have a good day all, prayers all around.

Eric, this looks nice enough to make anyone want to take a tour of London.
Changing of The Guard is fun on YouTube but nothing like being there. Lot of crowds, like any big city.
And all those folks talking that "funny" English...;)
http://www.motortrend.com/news/2019-levc-tx-taxi-review-driving-the-new-plug-in-hybrid-london-taxi/
Basically a retro styled Volvo taxi cab funded by the apparently endlessly deep pockets of Chinese parent Geely.

Versus an odorous Crown Vic with 468,000 miles, a slipping transmission, worn shocks , slippery likely toxic vinyl rear seat with
a sinkhole in the springs. And you look at the newness of the license in the picture and you know the driver Yung Wi has only been in this country
a month and isn't going to know the straightest route and you are already late for the plane.
Versus a proper chauffeur in London who will waft you to your destination silently.

Best taxis may be down in the Islands. Those guys take very good care of those narrow body Asian vans and if not too old,
they are pretty comfortable. Always wondered if they met any crash standards at all.

off to pick green beans.

That's the antenna I had on my MH. It brought in Austin easily from Lexington. I had the addition that showed up on link you provided. GS wing. You can also add a good digital amplifier.
I have a a King Jack antenna on my house with the above amplifier and a 12 VDC power pack.
Make sure you are visiting a AT&T company store. I have my 3 iPhones using WiFi calling. Took my Verizion 1 line phone and made it work everywhere in house.

Poured second cup of coffee. 52° with sunny skies this morning. Heading to 83° with mostly sunny skies. Got lawn cut yesterday. Plus last of the EBAY items that I had listed shipped. Going to get Flail mower hooked up to tractor today and mow about 3 acres.

Randy, glad Ellen's mother is doing better.

Don, next Whipper will be doing 3 blocks.

Prayers for all those in need.

Good Morning All.

Only problem is if your phone is older than the 6 models AT&T doesn’t support WiFi calling on them, even though the phone is capable. I have 7plus phones and they work fine on WiFi, plus I switched to Comcast anyway.

Don, there is Microcell from AT&T or this AT&T Signal Booster - WilsonAmplifiers.com

I have the newest version of Microcell and it works great, but you need to check to see what is required for it to function where you are. I no longer have AT&T and would gladly send it to you if you can use it, I got it free.

Randy, I get only 1 or 2 bars mostly one inside the house, Internet is from cable not phone line so I don't know if the Microcell will work. Does it have a connection for cable internet? The WilsonAmplifier may be what I need. Thanks for the links to research.

Good Morning!!!! 65F @ 5:30AM. Sunny. High 84F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

A couple days ago, about 500,000 people in the areas the California Public Utilities Commission has designated "Extreme Risk" were notified by PG&E, the local electrical utility, that it would preemptively cut power under certain weather conditions to prevent wildfires. This is primarily in response to the firestorms kicked off by high winds blowing trees into power lines last fall in the Santa Rosa and Santa Barbara areas. The hue and cry going up from the sheeple has been immense, largely from those on well systems that rely on electricity for water pressure, but also from those dependent on various electric powered medical devices. I've been meaning to get a transfer switch installed so I can hook a Honda generator up to power the house and well, and it looks like it's time to follow through on that. I'll never forget the sinking feeling I had during the Saddle Fire as flames roared across the canyon and the water I was using to hose down the outside of the house and landscaping just stopped. Anyway, yesterday we saw what may have been the first instance of this practice when a small brush fire threatened power lines a few miles south of here and power to 1500 homes was cut. The outage only lasted 45 minutes, and I wasn't even home at the time. I have mixed emotions about the practice, as it could end up saving lives, but the utility has a history of diverting funds away from power line right-of-way maintenance, and in my opinion it is this lack of proper tree clearance that is at the heart of the problem. It is what it is, though, and the simple expedient is to install the transfer switch and be ready should the need arise. Some of you have installed stationary propane generators with automatic transfer switches, and I'd be curious to learn about any issues you've had with reliability and/or maintenance.

Uneventful trip to town yesterday; picked up motorcycle parts and groceries.

TGIF!:drink:
