Bill, Buppies, Ted, Ed, Drew, wngsprd, Ron, RNG, and PJS and anyone that I have missed. I thank you all for the birthday wishes on her behalf and will pass it on the the "Birthday Girl." In a way the "last supper" too. I forgot in an earlier post to add that we will be transitioning away from all processed meats, fatty/high cholesterol meats in this anti-inflammationary food diet attempt. We actually are already pretty good about cooking oils, sugar, white bread, processed junk foods, etc. The real challenge is dairy products like butter, yogurt, and especially cheese. I stopped eating hotdogs for breakfast a couple of months ago. Eliminating "red meat" from our diet forces us to focus on cooking healthier foods and better meal planning. My blood sugars are higher than I anticipated (+140). The test strips expired 6 years ago. My testing was after walking and coffee which will inflate the #'s. I post all this here because that makes me own it and I feel that you all are straight shooters; have had or have similar medical challenges, and will freely give me feedback about my "incorrect" logic and/or if I am posting from where the sun does not shine.
My wife has walked the lower field more times this week than she had the previous year due to feeling better.
An above freezing morning with with mostly sun and increasing cloudiness. The crocuses under our pear tree are starting to bloom = weeding and rock moving; lot's of rock moving is in my future. We got a good crop of rocks this year.
Randy- Are you sure that it is just bronchitis? It reads more like pneumonia. Please take care of yourself.
BEF- I like your pallet drag. I think I may copy your design to smooth out my trench. I used to have an old car hood that I used as a stone boat when had my Ford 1100.
Rick- Nice cars attract junkers. I do not know why? They must be magnetically attracted. My Tundra has all kinds of nicks, scratches, and dingers. I am only responsible for 2. I watched some guy in a Ford 250 extended cab with a tow hitch hanging off the back backing into my truck, I tried to wave him down to stop, he did not, he hit my truck, and gave me a single finger salute as he sped off= I now take as many parking spots as possible.
Eric- That goat sitting in that vehicle is much better behaved that my St. B. and does not drool as much. Thanks for sharing.
Drew- As far as I am concerned if a gull can grab something with its's beak it will be eaten. Geese and ducks will pull up sprouts. I hope you catch the culprits.
My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
I hope you all have a decent day today.
