Prayers sent for those in need,

Brother was a big believer in the CBD oils.

We're getting rains, hoping we don't go from rainy windy cool temps to hot summer and bypass spring..

Good morning to all! Low about 45, up to near 72 today. Calm breezes right now but another wind event for this evening / tonight , through tomorrow. No precip whatsoever. Maybe a slight chance of sprinkles on Thursday and Friday, but wind then too! I hate spring here, always windy.

Knee holding its own, still swells a lot by the end of the day. All sorts of bruising still present. Pain getting better. Start PT tomorrow.

Drew that is a magnificent place there. Stupendous job manicuring the grounds, looks like one of the Bucks Co country clubs! :D Garden coming along well. Oh, the Mrs said two words about the house: "absolutely pristine ", then I had to clean the drool off the screen...:thumbsup:

Jay, with the freezing precipitation up there you could have used the opportunity to learn how to "power ice skate" when Brogen decided to pull.:D. Be careful, we used to have a Black Russian Terrier who would spot something 180 degrees behind and immediately turn and run, trying to spin us like starting a top..

BEF, if you could return my helpers, I could really use them!:D

Everyone have a great day, be safe. Prayer out to all.

"...wish jet stream would give us a break.:("- Thomas

That is an impressive jet stream. The NWS posted this AM about this lower level jet stream as 4X the April "normal." Impressive moisture plume with some decent storm cells to go along with it as well.

Ted- That red squirrel has been taunting Brogen from the relative safety of the Forester's wheel wheel, 8' and a slider door window barrier since "the beginning." St. B's appear to be more smell oriented than visual for "prey." Usually I make sure "all's clear" and have the dog at leash commanded sit to start the "exit." That :censored: squirrel surprised me too. I scan the lower field prior to the "perimeter" walk. I do not like "surprises" during leash walks. Black Russian Terriers are beautiful impressive dogs. Aren't they "runners"? I am glad to read that the knee is healing. Good luck with the PT. It's too easy to overdo PT. Take care.

68°F and .6 inches rain.
We were blessed yesterday with the rain holding off for our gathering. 62 people by my count, ton of good food.

Just a bit of cleanup today, otherwise an easy day planned.
Prayers for all.

Be safe
Have a great day

I got the town run done. Highway was 'wheel track bare'. Back roads not so much. I had to use 4 wd to get out of the driveway. Not because the snow was deep, but because of the thin layer of ice on top of the snow.
I am not going to plow until tomorrow, we will be getting another 2-4" today and overnight according to the weather guessers.

Drew, beautiful place. I too suffer a tad of Drew envy, but realistically know my aspirations may never come to fruition. But I haven’t given up hope completely.

I was a Quicken lover from back in the Apple ll days. Transitioned to Mac and downhill from there. At one point with a new release I lost a bunch of data - really ticked me off. I started building my own spreadsheets in AppleWorks, concentrating on what was important to me, less so on fancy reports. With the demise of AppleWorks I migrated to Numbers and have the ability to access from my Mac or IOS devices. What I like is the visibility and total understanding of the relationships (as I did create them) my only “report” is a dynamic financial statement that I use to update my financial advisor. I do miss the old AppleWorks function to link external files, but otherwise like my system which is free and not in a locked in file format I could lose on a whim.

I was a Quicken lover from back in the Apple ll days.

I have absolutely NO experience with any Apple computer, although a couple of my employees, back in the late '80s, used one in our office and thought it was great.

However, as I mentioned before, I bought and installed Quicken Deluxe 2018 on my notebook computer. It wasn't as simple as they'd have you believe, but I reckon not too bad. Now I bought that at Sam's Club and the CD came with a 16 digit "activation code" which I used to install it on the notebook computer. It was a bit of a nuisance but I got it working. So today I decided to go ahead and put it on my primary computer, a laptop. As I expected, entering the activation code got a reply that this code is already in use. So I called Quicken Support, the computer said an 11 minute wait, but a nice person responded to my text message in about 5 minutes. He (or maybe she, as far as I know, by the name of Cristian) talked me through getting it downloaded at no cost, got it installed, and working. That person stayed online with me for more than 30 minutes to be sure I had it working right.

Now I have all my Quicken files back to 1996, and one older file of my Dad's that is even older. But I did just finish getting all of them converted to Quicken Deluxe 2018, one year's files at a time. Whew!! It was slow, but it's done.
