Good morning everyone.
Drew- Nice place and extremely well maintained.

Thanks for sharing.

It a good thing that our house is hidden from the roadside, and we have no neighbors to complain about the property upkeep. We have a "New England" lawn = some kind of green ground cover vegetation that gets cut semi-regularly.:embarrassed:
I need to make another bird food run this week. The goldfinches are nailing the thistle seed. Some years we get decent sized flocks and some years very small flocks. This is a "big" year. I load and reload the thistle seed cage daily.
There were a couple of years that I brush hogged the lower field during snow showers. I did not have any problems with debris clogging up the air filters and radiators.
I started to pick up this Season's limb tree fall on the lawn. We still have patches of snow in shaded areas, and no bears not ticks seen yet. A few migrant species of sparrows have yet to arrive, as well as the tree swallows. Kingbirds and gnat catchers arrived the other day.
1.75" of accumulated snow that has changed over to all forms of frozen precipitation. Freezing rain presently. Nasty footing outside and I have seen very limited vehicular traffic on the road which was plowed, but not treated (yet). The wood stove feels real good this AM.
A

crazy red squirrel shot between Brogen's legs from underneath the wife's car during this AM's outing. There was almost a "Nantucket Sleighride" event

............ almost

. Luckily I still have decent hand/grip strength and out-weigh the dog. Between today's weather and nasty footing and the "squirrel episode" I am starting to think about some enclosed dog fencing around here.
My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
I hope everyone has a manageable day.
