16 right now...high in the upper 30's. Looks like a bit of snow coming in too...a couple inches.
Off today...taking wife and step daughter to a doctor's appointment...some kind of female thing. Nothing serious, I hope

33 going to 71 and windy. Snow and sleet tomorrow.

rip, glad to hear from you, but sorry to hear things have been so rough.

LS, good that your surgery is over...now be a good boy and don't overdo it.

BEF, happy anniversary to you and your bride. I drove through Rexburg a few years back...don't remember the town, but do remember the several different thundersnow storms amid otherwise blue skies that I drove through.

Ed, hope that farmer plants something that the deer like to eat so you can continue seeing them.

Steve, beautiful to see eagles on the beach...thanks for sharing.

Good tractor seat time yesterday...Bush hogged the last couple of acres needing it yesterday...the hawks and vultures were very interested, but best I could tell, I didn't run anything out for the hawks, or kill anything for the buzzards...just exposed a few insects that the bluebirds went after. Took the cutter off and put the tiller back on so I could maneuver into the yard and do a couple of chores for my wife. Then drove back into the woods and cut up a fallen pine to move the logs.

Not sure what's up today...long list to choose from...do need to pick up some filters and do maintenance on the tractor.

Hope everyone had a great day.

Keep that snow and sleet north of here please, though low temps tomorrow night supposed to hit 34. The last gasp of winter. Lot of rain predicted, 1.5 inches which is at least ten inches of snow.
But today is ok, 40 out now, headed up to 74 in sun turning to clouds

My morning will be spent likely wasting a lot of time at a car dealership and the afternoon with the food bank folks. No time for dirt today.
And looks like tomorrow for sure will be an inside day. Just please, please, don't wash all my corn away, a nice slow rain would be super.

woke up with itchy eyes, runny nose, allergies in full swing even taking an allergy pill at night and showering every day after I come in to get the pollen off me. Ah choo, tis the season.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 32° with heavy snow this morning. Heading to 40° with snow changing to rain. Already over a 1" of snow. Should not need the tractor. Snows shovels are still on back porch. So clean walkway off and then PT. Not going to plan anything else. But list is getting longer everyday with outdoor projects.

Riptides, prayers for you and wife.

LS, glad surgery went well. Prayer and wishes for a fast recovery. My last dose of pain medication came with a bottle of Stool Softener.

RNG, one of the pleasures of old age. Got to be something a tractor should be able to do to cure BM problems. :confused3: :D How about a BH.:confused2:

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning All.

Hasn’t been warm much but trees are in bloom and the pollen is covering everything.
Cool and windy yesterday, warm and windy today, cold and rainy tomorrow. Supposed to go to Plow days just up the road a mile or so, tomorrow, Ellen’s dad is one of the organizers. The weather may have other plans, but an appearance is mandatory. LOL

Got tires and wheels mated for the Monte Carlo yesterday. Could have mounted them but Ellen had volunteered to help this weekend, can’t turn down watching the lady with an impact wrench and tight jeans! LOL

After yesterday's gorgeous sunshine it's all looking a little dull this morning. I wanted to play with water pipes today, so I suppose a shower of rain will make little difference. Yesterday I got the rest of the 2" mdpe pipe out from where I'd left it by the fence a few years ago. I tried snatching it out of the grass with a rope, however it had buried itself too deep. After the first 20 yards of digging I realised why it was so reluctant to move - when my young friend replaced the fence posts for me a few months back, he had moved the line of the fence about a foot into the field and the pipe now meandered in and out of the posts. It took me a couple of hours to work it all free.

I now have 3 lengths of pipe pieced together, ready to try filling the old tank. Unfortunately the pump I was going to borrow has broken. Spent several hours online looking at the huge choice available and still haven't decided which to get. Thought today I would try and use my existing bilge pump to at least fill the water trough and then wash out a connection chamber that was built alongside the tank. Wonder how many hours those small 12V marine pumps made by Rule/Shurflow etc last before wearing out - maybe some of you with boating experience would know ?

Riptides, machinery will be easy to come by again one day, just keep on doing whatever it takes to hang on to the things that are priceless.

LS, hope you are soon "feeling swell" in a different sense ;)
