Good morning!!!!

I'm not liking the weather report any better than New England, have 8+++hours of driving in heavy rain tomorrow.
Going to leave early and try to get there when I get there, set the cruise and be patient.
Had a great day today visiting with friends at church, then my MIL, who as always is sending me home with oatmeal raisin cookies, and now watching my sister cook dinner. Going to sit by the fire and just yak.

Stop by I’ll give you your brownie plate back.:D

Drew- It reads like you had a good time with family. The modeled maps look bad for you with the predicted heavy rain and wind too. Traveling in heavy rain and wind is not fun. This will become another nasty, bombing NE coastal storm causing all kinds of havoc as it tracks up the CONUS coast. Take care on the roads.

Don- Does freezing Brazilian nuts affect its + effects?

I never really traveled roads that allowed for cruise control and never got into the habit of using it.

I致e been freezing all kinds of nuts for many years, my nutritionist says it has no effect so long as they around 0 degrees Fahrenheit.

My atomic clock didn’t set itself for DST for some reason, worked fine in November. I checked all the settings, so I did a reset.

Went to look at a very clean low miles 86 Monte Carlo LS V8 today, took a lady friend from one of the car clubs along, she and her husband and Lynn and I were good friends, he passed from brain cancer two years ago. We had dinner afterward and talked about everything from *** to grilling ribs! :D Really had a good time, she already sent me a note online telling me what a good time she had. It didn’t seem strange or like I was cheating on Lynn, for the first time. She told me I should feel special since I was her first “date” since Don died. We decided to give this a try and see where it goes, apparently it goes to the cruise in a week from Tuesday. :D She is 6 years younger than me, not sure how that plays out.
By the way, I bought the car, I have to pick it up tomorrow. Not a hot rod but way too clean to pass on for the money asked. Not sure if it’s a keeper or a flipper yet.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for your Mom, Ed

Randy- It reads like you both had an experience worth repeating. If you covered the topics of grilling ribs to *** you've probably covered all the important stuff. I am sure that Don and Lynn would approve. Good luck.

Safe travels, Drew. I’ve made that 95 run too many times. During recent trip we did No Va to Richmond and it surely didn’t trigger fond memories. Sounds like you’re having a great time.

34 currently. About 4” of heavy wet snow. Forecast was for 4-8. Probably had a couple of inches melt during storm.

I’m up with a power outage. Since 2am. Now 3 am. Chicken houses have their generator running and the emergency heat(ventless gas logs) is on in house. Won’t heat entire house but will do main living rooms. Will try to avoid the generator at house.

Sorry about your wife's friend. My friend had the same operation. Doc told him with a stern face, "If you eat anything other than clear liquids while it heals, YOU WILL DIE."

Those fans look like a lot of work. Will you have some help? Can you use the FEL to position them?

She was doing better today. They had her on an enhanced recovery plan and Saturday they switched her from a clear diet to a creamy diet. That went south and the doctor admitted they pushed her recovery too fast. So back to clear liquids. Maybe Home Tuesday. Surgery was Thursday. Only removed worse part.

Doctors told her if she wanted to keep what was left then she’d stick to a low residue diet. Basically the opposite of what don advises here. High carbs. Minimal fruit and vegetables. Most have a hull or seeds which get into pockets of lining and cause infections. NO NUTS. Can have ground meats. Pork is worst meat to eat. Think stringy while digesting. Beef is ok and chicken and turkey are best. Especially if ground. They are used to an all chicken and turkey diet. Her husband developed an allergy to red meats after a tick bite.

The company I bought them from will install them. I could but it’s a job. And the price they offered to do it for is ridiculously low. A 3 man crew will do it easily. Then assemble in place. 57-Inch (145-cm) ENDURA(R) Tunnel Fan | Fans and Shutters | Climate Control | Broilers | Chore-Time

0 and going to a high of 30 wind SE 8 mph. 30% chance of flurries.

I will plow this morning, for sure. Town run this afternoon.

I found a new supplier for stuff for my boat. A Canadian company, YES!
Marine and Boat Electric Pump - Bilge Pumps - Electric in Canada
Now I can get the stuff I need for the boat to make it legal again. All except for flares. Those I will get locally. Yes, I will Break Out Another Thousand. Next year when I come off the highway and go back into the city, I want to have a boat to enjoy.

I think that Monte Carlo would look better with a set of stock size Cragars or Centerlines on it. The 20" rims and low pros make it look goofy.

Have a safe day all
