71 this morning and headed to 82 today. Currently raining. What happened to the clear forecast?

All my new litter is here. Two barns are spread out pretty well. The other two still have to be windrowed and spread. Off to get a new top link. This one is slightly bent and won't go short enough. Also think I'll have to look at some mods to box blade. I built it last year and this is the first time I've used it. Build specifically for putting in litter. It just doesn't roll up like I need it to to give me the spread height adjustment I need. Should be setting up tomorrow and ready for birds before weekend is over. Birds come Monday and Tuesday.

Good Morning. 1050, partly cloudy, 92F {110F HI} with 66% humidity. Forecast high of 92F with 60% chance of thunderstorms today, and a low of 78F tonight. I guess I prayed for rain a little too hard yesterday. I got a nice little shower after I finished planting peas, green beans and sweet corn, and I was feeling really good about things. Then the bottom let go and we had a deluge. I've just spent 90 minutes trying to unearth my young transplants. I've had more trouble with this bunch than I can recall with any others.

I want to mow around the edges of the garden while I have all my hoses, plows, stakes and whatnot out of the way. Then this afternoon it's a quick trip to Marianna for the week's shopping, and later this evening Pizza Hut in Blountstown with the family.

I did a little baking last night, but nothing sweet like Drew. I did the lazy man's Jalapeno poppers, also known as Larro's Un-popped Jalapeno Stuffers. Much easier than regular poppers. It will take some tweaks to get the right cream cheese/cheese/Jalapeno/bacon/BBQ sauce ratio. Here is the recipe as prepared:

173g Jalapeno
86g Mexican blend cheddar cheese
8 oz cream cheese
116g partially cooked bacon
56g Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce

Bake at 350F for about 30-35 minutes. 172 calories per 50g serving.

You guys have a good one,

Larro

Good morning all. 80F @ 6 am this morning going to 98F ans mostly sunny. Need to mow the back yard, and we have been here long enough that we can now "see" the laterals in the front :) Windows did not get washed yesterday as lost water pressure mid morning for several hours. Will try and do windows to finish up day.

My wife got to use her epi pen today. Peanut allergy. Waiting for her to get back from the ER. She's doing ok now.

sorry for your scare, that must have given her breathing problems.
glad she'd doing better.

btw, epi pen has max temp of 77 degrees which rules out leaving one in the truck in these parts, even with the windows cracked.

Lost a old school friend years ago, he was a principal at a school in the North West Territories, went a teacher's home for supper, her dessert had peanuts in it, he died before he could get help, throat closed up on him.

They are still watching her in the ER. She thought she would be home a long time ago. She keeps 3 or 4 epi pins around, including in our vehicles. Even slightly outdated ones, we figure it's better to keep one around and have one than to not have one. Box says up to 86* for excursions, but I have one in my vehicle and it gets a lot hotter than that.

She ate Chinese today with my son. She usually always asks about everything, and she has eaten there before. Something had peanuts in it, or was cooked in peanut oil. she usually has me taste things for peanuts.

-edit She's now home and doing ok.
