Thanks all for the eclipse pictures.
Not a pleasant morning at doctors office. Blood pressure had sky rocketed. Several test and blood draws. Appointment with Cardiologist tomorrow. Never had problems before. I guess getting to be 75 has its rewards.

I just turned 78 and have an appointment Tuesday for a "wellness visit" as Medicare calls a general physical.

But tomorrow I have to get my wife to the surgery center at 11 a.m. for the doctors to implant a neurostimulation system. They ran the test system a month or so ago, so now she gets the permanent one. If anyone would like to know what that is, here's the website of the equipment provider.

Amazon gets $106.45 for one, but J&B Tool Sales sells 'em for $97.32 shipped with no tax, so that's where I ordered mine. I'll let you guys know how it works out. The 6V battery on the Trail 90 hasn't seen a charger for several months, and should be a good candidate for the revive from the dead routine.

Tried to order a 2365 lcd from JBtools this morning. Out of stock. So I ordered from the other Amazon seller for $106.

Our doctor will only do 1 Wellness a day. Because all the paper work that is required. So we have to make 2 appointments on different days to get ours done. Hope yours goes well.

Successfully retrieved all deleted files from the sd card. 116 new pictures that were not backed up yet. Now they are. In all recovered close to 1700 pictures taken since last june.

Sorry to hear of the BP issues, I use to have a real case of white coat HBP, not much anymore, I’d catch myself getting tensed up because I knew it would be high, so it was. Several times after a few minutes the doctor would check it and it would be way down. Losing 55 lbs over the last year has helped mine more than anything.

Randy- Congratulations on the weight loss. It's not easy. I should lose about the same amount myself. I could easily if I made only a couple of changes in diet and lifestyle. Wifey and I are working on that.

Ate fewer calories than I burned.:laughing:

Actually cutting out junk at night did me more good than anything, cutting the amount on my plate, which is self fulfilling, the less you eat, the more you lose and the quicker you get full.

55 pounds is outstanding. Best I've done is 50. It's incredible now when I pick up a 50
pound sack of seed or fertilizer to think I dragged this around extra all the time.

I have a BP monitor. Over the last 3 weeks it has been slowly raised from 130/70 to 160/90. Today at doctor office it was 190/100.
I have had my breakfast, taken my aspirin and other supplements and drank some coffee. Still high but not like at Dr office. Good day to sit and relax

I had the same experience a few months ago. I went into a wellness check and they were ready to call 911. After trying some different meds there, we went back to my vascular doctor who switched out my meds. We never did figure out the why on the spike. But I had been pretty stressed the last many months before the spike.

Good luck with it and stay on top of the monitoring.

Went to go blow out some driveways. I started the tractor and smelt something burning. The big ice storm with wind froze my alternator which damaged the belts when I started the tractor. The belts moved but the alternator didn't. I live in the country and not close to any dealership. I worked the alternator until I got it turning again, tighten the belts and went blowing snow. I got though the day but tomorrow I guess I have to run to town to get some belts.

Getting hungry so I think I will go fry up some eggs in my cast iron frying pan. Man the food taste good after a long day. Cast iron has it's health benefit over non stick cook wear. My food doesn't stick to my cast iron pan. This is how I seasoned it. I wonder could I do the same thing for kubota parts so they don't rust.

Good evening all. Thanks for all the eclipse pics. Got to see most of it, but near 7AM the sun was getting too bright. 46F for start, clear, windy. High temp was 73F, wind gust were up to 35, clear sky. Fire was still smoldering in WBS and the harder wind gust was blowing smoke back into the house. Built the fire till the big pieces were burnt, then let it go out. Then started removing the boat interior, to address the leak. I hope this is enough interior removal.
