too funny, I made that yapper list too at 4 posts a day. But Toppop has blown my doors off, he's in contention for some medals.

Now, if they counted total word count, heh heh heh
for once my long windedness would be worth something... :D

Drinking first cup of coffee. 27° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 33° with mostly cloudy skies. Another Dr. appointment today. Wife was busy yesterday. She collected a full SUV load of stuff to drop off at Salvation Army. Amazing how much stuff we had collected in motorhome over 12 years. Still more stuff. But it's a start. Also a Costco stop. Hope the bill does not end up as high as others have posted.
Found a new hobby. Maybe. Disc Golf. Some of the video clips are from Fountain Hills, AZ Always wondered what the chain baskets were for.
Drew, hope you tractor repair goes good.
Prayers for those not up to par.
Good Morning All.

26 with a high of 19 Wind SSW 8 mph. More snow in the forecast. Another couple of inches today, on top of the 4-6 that we got yesterday.

I got the North Bay run done. The highway was a slick mess yesterday. Mostly snow covered with lots of icy sections. My new Bridgestone KO2s stuck to the road like glue. 55 to 60 mph all the way there and back. The speed limit is technically 62 mph/100 kmph.
Today it is; plow snow, go to Powasson for cat litter (I use chick feed for cat litter because it is only $16.oo/55lb bag as opposed to $48.oo/40 lb bag for Sweet Scoop), then to Sundridge for groceries. After Sundridge it is into the South River PO for yesterdays' parcels.

BEF, it is just a thought, but the doctors haven't gotten their new yachts paid for yet so they will most likely screw you around until they have. You are in my thoughts constantly.

Have a good day all

35 going to 55 and windy, then some snow and rain tonight.

Sorry BEF. Hope they get it right this time.

Don, can we spend your money and help you decide which new tractor to buy?

Roasted coffee yesterday when I got home from the gym. I mentioned last week that they were tearing down and rebuilding WaWa and Sheetz food/gas stations...while in town, I see that the Tesla charging station is tearing down and rebuilding with many extra "pumps" for charging, and a small building that I'm gonna guess is a bathroom. I looked at one of the old charging stations a while back, and never saw a place for a credit card, and wondered if the "fill up" was free, or does the electrical connection read your vehicles VIN and they know who to charge the juice to?

May change the oil in my truck if not too windy (no garage, just a gravel driveway).

Paid for, unfairly in my opinion, by the taxpayer.

Drew, I use to post a lot before Lynn died, I’ve slowed way down.
Buckeye, get well dude!
Don, more tractors!
Losing weight is a dedication process that requires replacing habit eating with some other activity.
50s and windy with clouds moving in. Rain changing to snow but hopefully not much.

I've never played it, but we do have some popular courses in this area, and our grandson plays them.

I'm sure having some weird back problems; been having them for a week or more. No pain in the spine, or down low. The pains extend all the way across my back and just below the ribcage. No pain when I'm lying in bed or relaxing in my recliner, but when I'm standing, walking, etc. the pain comes and goes. This is something new to me. I have the appointment Tuesday the 6th to see my primary care doctor, so I hope he has a good idea about the cause and a possible cure.

39 outside this AM. Not been following the weather. More PT scheduled for the wife, and need to double-check our NY visit, next week.

BEF hope to get it worked out to where you are back to normal quicker.

Bird, get checked out.

Kyle, hope your back is better.

My wife started with a diagnosis of muscle strain. 3 years later, it was five rods, 22 screws and 2 cages to fix the real issues. The rods go from her neck to her hips.

We went through four specialists, all had various suggestions about the above and when the "time" would be "right".

Muscle strain my arse.

Geez Kyle that's a serious deal and no wonder you have been worried and exhausted. I had one 5 inch piece of titanium put in my neck and I know what that was like. Can't quite comprehend the variety of pains your wife must have had/still be having. Lots of opiods help now but they have a price, getting off them can be a real issue after major surgery. One more thing to worry about but first you have to control the pain.
It's hard to describe what it's like to hold your wife's hand while she is suffering incredibly and there is nothing you can do but hold her hand. I'm pretty sure this is what Kyle has been through. It's wearing on you, tiring on your soul, you lose your sense of humor. Who wouldn't...
But as you see steady improvement, it's like climbing out of a hole. And you make it.

We have a frisbee golf course at a local park.

My Dr called, going to see me at 130pm and do the procedure he was going to do next monday. Wish it was sooner. Office is an hour away, not sure how the trip will be today. I really like this Dr.

I fell asleep in the chair for an hr. Hope i can get a little more.

Today marks 15 years since the space shuttle Columbia and its crew of seven were lost returning home from a 16-day mission. Columbia broke apart during re-entry, and pieces of the orbiter are still occasionally found in East Texas.

Good morning! Happy February 1. 57˚ heading to 70˚ cloudy with wind from the South. Finished staining the porch rails yesterday on to the next project either road work or stump removal, I 'll have to think about this for a while. Stump removal will require me to take off the 3 point and put on the BH. I need dedicated tractors for each implement like Drew.

I'll have to measure the stump. I think the circumference is the same as my rear tractor tire and it's taller than the tractor.

Is this the stump of the tree that tried to kill your backhoe?

Nope, I'm downsizing, remember, (sometimes I have to remind myself). If I was staying put I would let the stump rot but it takes away from the compass rose. So today I might put on the BH. Ron suggest a larger BH or stump grinder, he is probably right. He should have suggested I turn that 18 wheeler truck with 10,000 pavers around also before he came up the driveway- where was you suggestion then Ron!!!! If If I start the extraction today you all will have the pleasure of an hour by hour update pics, unless I'm goofing off for and hour then no update.

Rick this is not the tree that killed my BH. So this will not be the "REVENGE OF THE BH" series.

Buckeye I hope it just scar tissue from the surgery giving you grief and you feel better soon.

If I recall it was a Saturday, I was on the internet browsing when a banner ran across the screen.

I don't know where I was. Sure was not there or watching out for you on the internet. But I got your back now. Go rent a Stump Grinder and be done with it. Then you will not need to spend a couple hours putting the backhoe on.

I was planting potatoes and heard the loud boom. My wife was in the cabin and the whole cabin shook. We both knew something bad happen somewhere. We were thinking a gas line exploded.

The lure of the clawing of the dirt and the roots is becoming overwhelming. I can't stop this, it must happen.

I love working a backhoe! I have little need to justify owning one, but I love them!
