Today’s projects accomplished. Mom’s flat fixed and enough wood split for the rest of the year.

Just stopped for a quick warm-up up in the shop, where it's a toasty 77F.

Salt delivery just left, had him leave 4 bags to save him having to navigate the drive way over the winter ... probably won't see him again until April or May.

Landscape rake went out this morning, fittings are due in tomorrow. I'll run over once they come in and hook it all up and see how it works.

Once that went out, I got the 3PH frame for the LPGS moved down to the barn and the 65 gallon tank for the sprayer upgrade set outside the shop. Probably should just go ahead and move it down to the barn while I'm up here.

Then I emptied the water buffalo and moved it into the barn, and gathered up some more junk wood and took it up to the burn pile.

Have to move the dump trailer into the barn next, along with some insulation.

Then clean the MMM and sprayer and put them away.

And take the trash up to road.

Got a little bit done today, lunch with a couple of friends, need to do a little table saw work tonight, so no beer until that’s done. Still have all the digits, plan to keep it that way. Dentist tomorrow, then Menards for lumber, then back home. Lunch with wife in there also......

I've had this piece of 10 gauge sitting around that I cut a year ago (two years ago ? ) for the spread-mouth intake feed chute mod for the Chinese chipper and I've been shuffling it around in the shop, tripping over it, etc. ... so today as I was about to move the chipper in the barn I decided that I'd take a little detour up to the shop and weld it to the sides (red) and get it out of there and quit tempting fate.

Got both sides done, inside and out ... the outsides need a little work with the grinder and flap disc to pretty them up.

Can't remember whether I was going to do with the part that extends out past the sides ... leave it or cut it off ?

The unpainted part sits parallel to the ground ... think I might go ahead and score it with a zip disc and then bend it down to a 45 degree angle so it's less likely to catch branches that are being drawn in ... but that will be a project for another day ...

Good evening all. 67F at the start, overcast, windy. Rain has been in the area, Indian Creek started flowing again for the first time since mid-June, but rain gauge empty, have restated irrigation system. High temp today was 82F, wind got gusty, and sun in the middle of day, clouded back up this afternoon. Only 1/2 inch of rain since Sept 1, and none in sight. 2 hour Choir practice, then over to stepdaughter's house to persuade golf cart to charge on charger, and cut up a branch so she can deal with it. Got new TV and stand moved into place, TV firmware updated. Still have to hook up DVD player and VCR and stereo.

warm morning here in Princeton NJ with rain coming in later this morning. Big warm front sliding East, bringing rain for several days.
Going all the way up to 61 here, a real heatwave, then after the rain Old Man Winter definitely arrives.
Enjoying a cup of Keurig coffee well before my sister and BIL wake up. Then later on heading out to visit friends and family all day.

RS, what kind of welder are you using for your work? That looks too nice to be stick.
